Philosophy Statement
Reflecting on this statement about my values and beliefs in his career field of
early childhood education has highlighted all the things that I want in my future career
path. I have seen my passion to care for others and make people feel good about
space. I also know that offering a positive safe space for everyone to learn and be
themselves is important to me and I know its a core value in the educational space and
work field. Seeing when the children that I have been observing hit some milestone in
development feels so nice incurring them and seeing it make them proud. Learning will
always be important to my values. I feel like we all should never stop learning and keep
In this certification process I have learned how play based learning and leading by
examples are some of the best teaching mentioned I have gained for my future in
education. In early childcare education some core motor skills are being developed and
can be practiced by simply stringing rings to a long string to hown in on the hand eye
coordination. When playing outside, cheering on the children when they balance on one

of the circle obstacle courses helps them build patterns along with balance and in turn
will help them in learning to read with pattern building. I also see in the learning space
what I know. I try to hold that standard everytime I am with students to be positive and
uplifting. I know that it takes a person that is not easily embarrassed to be with children
in a learning space. I have sung and cwalled and rolled around with them as I am
showing how being kind to others really reflects their mood and that makes them want
I believe that my role in an early childhood learning space is to keep the students
safe and feel like they can be themselves and grow their interest in learning and keeping
their drive to learn alive. I have learned in my past career fields. I have always enjoyed
helping people and I have enjoyed helping students learn and grow in a positive space
