Teaching: Unwavering Purposes

I've always asked myself these questions as a teacher. Do I make it right? Does it make
more sense to be a strict teacher or a kind one? How do I influence their impressionable minds?
And most importantly, my purpose as a teacher. Then I come to the idea that establishing my
mission as a teacher is a process that takes time. It takes a lot of reflection for me to realize
where my passion, talents, and advantages to others evolve. For me, it’s important to know
who I am as a teacher, what I stand for, and what I hold to be true. It will, in my opinion,
develop and alter as I learn more about my work and myself as a teacher. Currently, the
foundation of my philosophy is comprised of both my own life experiences and personal views,
values, and encounters I have had in educational environments.

Plato's words, "The purpose of education is to give to the body and to the soul all the
beauty and all the perfection of which they are capable." serves as the cornerstone of my
philosophy. Consequently, for me, teaching involves having unwavering purposes. These two
purposes that become my lean to continue teaching. As an English teacher, it is very difficult
to cultivate their young minds that learning English is not a burden, that learning English should
be an honor to be called. Because it is key for learners like them to be able to be great in all
fields of education.

First, I do believe in teaching purpose that learners must to be understood.

Understanding my students’ interests will help me to provide them with quality learning
opportunities. On the other hand, I must know that I will meet learners with different dynamics
during my teaching career. That there are main difference in some students will learn fast, and
others will be slower. Again, I will teach learners that are challenged or disabled in some way.
In the light of this, it is crucial that a I must identify and meet the needs of every learner without
discrimination. Similar to the way I have to cater to nine different personalities and nine
different learning needs with my Kinder 1 students today. I must develop every student's talent
in order to make every lesson worthwhile as a teacher. I never allowed anyone to miss a lesson.
I'm using a variety of strategies to make sure they learn. And every day, I always hope for a
thorough understanding of how unique each pupil is. Instead of focusing on where they fall
short, I will work to develop their strengths.

Second, I do believe in teaching purpose that make every learner tends to evolve. With
the "bucket filler" concept, I believe I'm creating a safe and supportive learning environment
where kids are developing relationships with one another and with me. It should be a place
where kids feel protected, loved, and cared for. "I believe that I owe it to my students, as well
as the community, to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to my job in the hope that I can
ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the children as well," the teacher said. "I aim to
bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day." I
make an effort to bring all of the knowledge and abilities I have learned from my prior
experiences and my best efforts to the classroom, but I think the biggest gift I can give my
pupils is my love and belief in them.

To live up to these beliefs, I need to be eager to learn new techniques that will satisfy
my goals for my learners.
I will carry on praying to my great compass, the "King of all kings," while I continue on this
voyage. My God, the best teacher among of us.
