“MY PHILOSPHY OF EDUCATION”

As an aspiring Teacher, we have different styles, strategies and techniques when it comes to
teaching. For me, my role as a teacher is to adjust the individual child and teach their learning
style and needs for the betterment of their future. Because I believe that every child is different
from one another. That’s why, I might have high expectations for myself as an educator, but
knowledge to me encompasses basic skills, moral development, and open-mindedness to my
students someday. It is important to encourage the development of thinking and reasoning to the
students for them to enable to open their minds and souls. Because Education is important it’s
gradually prepares students for a future career. As a teacher, I will try to improve the minds of my
students because I want them to understand the importance of education nowadays in our
country.

My educational philosophy is that I believe that all my students are capable of learning. I hope to
serve as a role model and gain respect from all of my students to have a good communication to
everyone. I want that my teaching strategies will be inspiring, dedication and passion for teaching
career. I want my students to have the importance of education and have a positive outlook in
their life someday. Because I hope that my passion in teaching will have a big impact to the society
someday so that I am an effective teacher to my students.
For me I belong to the Existentialist Teacher because my goal is to help students better
understand who they are as individuals. This also means that the student should have a choice
in what they learn and that the curriculum needs to be somewhat flexible. I want my students to
learn to think for themselves and be able to function in society. I want that my students must be
able to function in the real world which not only requires academic knowledge but social skills as
well. Because it is important that we should socialize to each individuals to have a better future.
The purpose of education is to mold the minds of the future students. I am not a perfect person,
but I choose this career path to change the world. I am a teacher that always by their side to cheer
them up if they have a problem in academics. My teaching method will also involve cooperative
grouping, a mixture of teacher-centered and learner-centered learning, and some lecturing and
worksheets. Incorporating these methods will make me an effective teacher, therefore helping me
accomplish my goals to my students someday.

In conclusion, we should always put in our mind that we are the one to help our students to
achieve their goals in life that’s why we will educate our students to have a better future in our
country. Because teachers are the one that are capable of doing this for the betterment of the
students. Lastly, I hope that my students can look me one day in the eye and tell me that what
they learned from me helped them. I strive to be the kind of teacher who opened my students’
minds and gave them options to rebuild this world.
