II. RATIONALE

Sinapulan Elementary School is a learner-centered institution that hones

learners’ knowledge and skills in all aspects of life. One of the fundamental aspect that
our learners need to develop is their reading skills which is essential in academic
development and success. As we can see, this pandemic had a great impact on
education since there was a sudden change of delivery mode of learning as it was
interrupted and compromised, thus it affects the reading ability of our pupils.

In this light, “Pera sa Mani” project is embarked to generate funds in procuring

instructional material specifically printer for the reproduction of reading materials that
could help all our IP learners develop and enhance their reading skills since it
contributes to academic ease and success.

“Pera sa Mani” is a proposed project which makes raw peanut as its product due
to its health benefits and use. Peanuts are rich in high-quality protein and various
healthy nutrients. Since peanut is highly beneficial to our health and usually grows in
tropical areas where our school is located, “Pera sa Mani” as an Income Generating
Project was conceived to support school program needs and makes use of vacant site
available resources to the fullest.
III. PROJECT OBJECTIVES
