Submit the relevant product catalogues and brochures of the materials to be used for approval
prior to commencement of any work. Work shall not proceed without approval from SO.
WORK METHODOLOGY
7.0
1. The grouting is to be done soon after acceptance of sonic logging result by the Engineer.
2. Lower down the 1 inch poly pipe down to the base of the sonic logging pipe.
3. Then the sika 214 is pumped into the sonic logging pipe thru the poly pipe using a petrol engine
grout pump. Grouting shall stop once the pipe filled up and fresh grout over flows from the sonic
logging pipe.
4. To prepare 6 numbers of (50mm x 50mm x 50mm) cubes for compressive strength for grouting
works done on a batch of piles on the same day.
5. Two (2) cubes each shall be tested at 3 Days and 28 Days and 2 cubes to be kept as spare.
a. The Client Representative shall be informed via RIN before proceeding with the work. The work
shall not proceed without approval from Client Representative. Contractor shall first inspect the
work readiness prior to requesting for joint inspection from the Client Representative.
