SPORTS GUIDELINES:
• The official players of each team will be recorded on the score sheet before
the game starts. The said players are required to present either their school
ID or library card to the event head before their names will be validated on
the score sheet of their first game in order to ensure that the said players are
official students of CIM. School ID or library card will no longer be required in
the succeeding games. This will count as the attendance for the player.
• Players are required to wear their official jersey/uniform during the games.
Teams must not wear attires with the same color motif with that of the
opposing team during a game (when a change in outfit is necessary usual on
succeeding games.)
2. Tournament venue will be at Level Cap Gaming Hub from 7:30AM onwards.
3. A maximum 3 teams from each year level may join the event. CIM Alumni/Senior
Clerks/PGIs are also invited to join with a maximum of 3 teams.
5. A team must select a Team Captain for the entire duration of the tournament for
coin toss and communication purposes.
6. Stand-ins will only be allowed in the event that a team has less than 5 active
players. Stand-ins may only come from the names listed on the other team of the
same year level.
8. Deadline for submission of team lineups with a registration fee of ₱200 per team
is on September 20, 2019. Failure to submit on the said date can no longer join the
tournament.
*order of names may not be based on the position/role played by the player (e.g.
carry, support)
10. Please submit your final lineup on a piece of paper (handwritten or typewritten)
to Clark Montilla of Batch Praecordia on or before September 20, 2019.
11. A team is advised to “Create a Team” under the DotA 2 game client to help
easily identify the said team during the games.
To do this, one of the players must simply go to the “Community” Tab in the
Main Menu.
Under the “Teams” menu, click on the “Create New Team” tab.
Input your Team Name and Team Tag/Abbreviation, then click on “Create.”
The remaining team members can then be invited to the team by clicking on
their respective in-game names and selecting “Invite to Team.”
13. Game Mode will be Captains’ Mode on a Local Server. Only Bench Players may
assist during the picks and bans during the drafting phase.
14. Teams are not allowed to change players after entering the game lobby.
15. A Coin Toss will be done before each game to determine who gets 1st Pick of
2nd Pick of the draft. The Winner gets to choose whether he/she gets 1st or 2nd
Pick, while the Loser gets to choose between being in the Radiant or Dire side.
16. Members can be late for up to 15 minutes only. If a team still lacks 5 players
necessary to compete, their game will be forfeited, and a win will be awarded to the
opposing team.
17. In the event of DC/Fatal Error before 10 minutes Game Clock, game will be
remade. All Pick with same picks in the same lanes.
18. If the crash happens more than 10mins into the game time, reload from save
game.
19. Teams may pause instantly in the event of a DC. If for other reasons
(computer/mouse/keyboard problems), a team member must type in all chat FIRST
before pausing. Opponent team may not resume the game. A maximum of 2 pauses
per team per game is allowed for CR breaks and good for 3 minutes per pause
20. Morning Teams (Team A of 1st year, Team A of 2nd year, and the Team of 3rd
year) should arrive at the venue at 7:30 am. Afternoon Teams (Team B of 1 st and 2nd
years and Interns/PGI) should arrive at the venue at 12:45 pm.
22. The accumulated points earned by each team will be added directly to the overall
total of the batch, as part of the determinants for the overall champion of CIM
Intramurals 2019: O2- Outrun. Outlast.
