A. About AIESEC in UNEJ

AIESEC is the world's largest youth-run organization developing the leadership potential of young
people worldwide. AIESEC offers young people a chance to develop their leadership potential
through life-changing professional and personal development experiences. AIESEC in Universitas
Jember (AIESEC in UNEJ) has been developing youth in Jember since 2013. We are, as of today,
a Local Committee that is university-based. We held several voluntary projects with Exchange
Participants from all over the world and sent many students overseas for exchange in our Global
Volunteer program. We commit to developing more in youth in Jember so every youth can
enhance their leadership potential. We are still creating more leaders, shape the world, and bring a
positive impact to society.
B. Local Project Introduction
Local Project is a volunteering opportunity for young people in Indonesia who seek to develop
themselves by experiencing a new perspective, making an impact, and supporting action to build
their leadership skills and increase the awareness of The Sustainable Development Goals to
Society. Thus, AIESEC in UNEJ wants to do a project called HOPE (Humanity of Perpetual
Education) based on SDGs 4 (Quality Education) and focusing on target 4.7

Target 4.7 of The Sustainable Development Goals aims to ensure that by 2030 all learners acquire
the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development through education for
sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a
culture of peace and nonviolence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and
culture’s contribution to sustainable development.

We are running this project to discover how youth can contribute to achieving Target 4.7, even
with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. We get to see and experience changes in
education. With the shift from offline to online school, the gap between the rich and the poor is
getting even more comprehensive, especially regarding access to the internet and parents who

cannot accompany their children to study at home since not all of them are capable of doing so.
How is it possible to acquire knowledge, skills, and education for sustainable development if there
is a limited access to learning? We want to deep dive into the problems that may cause problems
for SDGs 4.7 in Indonesia, and we hope that youth will gain a deeper understanding of the SDGs
and then create a bigger impact through this Project.

On 21th November 2021, we will hold an event which will be a platform to share detailed
information an thorough understanding about Local Project 3.0 : HOPE. The name of this event is
“Youth Today : Be The Hope of YOUth” which is a two hours event to introduce SDGs Target 4.7
to YOUth.

C. Invitation
We want to invite Asian Law Students Association Fakultas Hukum Universitas Jember
(ALSA FH UNEJ) to be our Media Partner in Youth Today : Be the HOPE of YOUth at
AIESEC in Universitas Jember, and create a partnership together. Hereby we attached the
