RESORT

Pool Area

Pool is a structure designed to hold water to enable swimming or other leisure

activities. Pools can be built into the ground (in-ground pools) or built above ground (as

a freestanding construction or as part of a building or other larger structure) and may be

found as a feature aboard ocean-liners and cruise ships. In-ground pools are most

commonly constructed from materials such as concrete, natural stone, metal, plastic,

or fiberglass, and can be of a custom size and shape or built to a standardized size, the

largest of which is the Olympic-size swimming pool.

Outside Discotheque

A nightclub that features dancing to recorded or sometimes live music and often

has showy decor and elaborate lighting.

Front Desk

The function of front office is to directly get in touch with customers and is usually

the first place that customers get to when they arrive to the company. The front office

can discover more information about the customer by asking them questions, also

helping the customers out.

Staff working in the front office can also deal with simple tasks, such as sorting

out emails, helping out on printing and typing works. Front office staff need to use

different skills on technologies too, such as using the printers, fax machines and phone.

This is the reason why training is needed before the staffs start to work, although some
might only be simple tasks. The most common work for the front office worker will be a

mix of getting in touch with customers and also helping out internally in the office.

Nail Salon

A nail salon or nail bar is a specialty beauty salon establishment that primarily

offers nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements. Often,

nail salons also offer skin care services. Manicures are also offered by general beauty

salons, spas, and hotels. People who work at nail salons are usually called nail

technicians, manicurists, or nailists.

SPA

spa resorts (including hot springs resorts) typically offer various health

treatments, which are also known as balneotherapy. The belief in the curative powers

of mineral waters goes back to prehistoric times. Such practices have been popular

worldwide but are especially widespread in Europe and Japan. Day spas are also quite

popular and offer various personal care treatments.

Coffee Shops

A coffeehouse, coffee shop, or café is an establishment that primarily

serves coffee of various types, e.g. espresso, latte, and cappuccino. Some

coffeehouses may serve cold drinks, such as iced coffee, iced tea, and other non-

caffeinated beverages. In continental Europe, cafés serve alcoholic drinks. A

coffeehouse may also serve food, such as light snacks, sandwiches, muffins, fruit,

or pastries. Coffeehouses range from owner-operated small businesses to large

multinational corporations. Some coffeehouse chains operate on a franchise business

model, with numerous branches across various countries around the world.

Barbershop/ Salon

A barbershop is one of the places where people go to get their hair cut. You

might visit a barbershop at the beginning of every summer to get a short crew cut.

A beauty salon or beauty parlor (beauty parlor), or sometimes beauty shop, is an

establishment dealing with cosmetic treatments for men and women. There's a

difference between a beauty salon and a beauty parlor which is that a beauty salon is a

well-developed space in a private location, usually having more features than a beauty

parlor could have. Usually a beauty parlor concentrates on a specific treatment or

beauty features such as styling either for men, women or for both. Also, a beauty parlor

is a smaller and more community friendly place which is usually located at the owner's

home. In some cases, the owner is not only the boss, but probably the only worker, not

having any other crew members. Other variations of this type of business include hair

salons and spas.

Derma Care

Skin care is the range of practices that support skin integrity, enhance its

appearance and relieve skin conditions. They can include nutrition, avoidance of

excessive sun exposure and appropriate use of emollients. Practices that enhance

appearance include the use of cosmetics, botulinum, exfoliation, fillers, laser

resurfacing, microdermabrasion, peels, retinol therapy and ultrasonic skin

treatment. Skin care is a routine daily procedure in many settings, such as skin that is

either too dry or too moist, and prevention of dermatitis and prevention of skin injuries.
