3. Answer this exam in hand writing and post the pictures/document on the Elena on the deadline time
4. Do the exam with honesty and responsibility, anyone who cheats will get the E grade automatically

Question 1 (30 Point), do it with manual calculation!

The following table shows the data about learning facilities (X) and learning achievement of senior high school
student in Central Java (Y).

X 2 4 5 6 8 10 11 13 15 16 18 19 21 22 25 27 30
Y 25 22 20 18 17 16 15 13 11 10 9 7 6 5 4 3 2

Determine:
a. The calculation of the correlation coefficient (r) and do the interpretation for the results
b. T test value with a standard error of 5% (two tailed) from the correlation of cases above, and give your
analysis based on the results.

Question 2 (40 Point), do it with manual calculation!

A research was conducted on the students’ consumption (Y) with predictors of income (X1) and prices of goods
(X2). The following data were obtained.
Income 2 4 3 5 3 7 8 7 5 8 9 4 6 8 9
Prices of 19 17 22 21 19 16 17 21 22 21 17 23 20 22 17
Goods
Consumption 20 23 22 21 20 18 20 23 19 21 16 22 17 19 23

Determine:
a. Regression equation model and interpret the results
b. How much is the consumption of students, if the income earned is 200 and price of goods is 40?
c. Calculate the coefficient of determination (R2) and interpret the results
d. Calculate the test F with a standard error of 5% (two tailed), and what are the conclusion of the hypotheses?
