I hereby confirmed that this student is a final year Diploma of Chemical Engineering Universiti Teknologi MARA
(Johor), Pasir Gudang Campus whom has fulfilled all requirements to undertake industrial training programme
in semester March 2023 – August 2023. The industrial training programme is part of the requirement for the
student to complete their Diploma in Chemical Engineering course. The duration of the training is 24 weeks,
starting from 26 or 27 February 2023 until 10 or 11 August 2023.

We strongly feel that sufficient exposure to the real working environment at your premises and guidance from
your organization personnel would empower the student to put his/her theoretical knowledge into good practice
as well as to enhance his/her interpersonal skills.

To assist your organization in placing the student, listed below are the proposed activities which can be carried
out by the student during the training:

1. Project management i.e. project documentation, coordination and planning.

2. Equipment design i.e. heat exchanger, separator, completion equipment accessories and
facilities design.
3. Production of oleo chemicals, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and biotechnology.
4. Familiarization with real PID and PFD as well as other related simulation works.
5. Interpretation and inspection of engineering drawings from relevant consultant companies.
6. Equipment stability assessment or troubleshooting and maintenance.
7. Laboratory works i.e. chemical/PVT/properties analysis, design of experiments and other
relevant research and development activities.
8. Production and manufacturing assemblies.
9. Site visit for environmental or oil and gas field

Please be informed that the student will be covered with insurance by UiTM as stated in Pekeliling Timbalan
Naib Canselor (Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar dan Alumni) Bil 1/2009.
