Sub: Guidelines & dateline for PG SPOT Selection and Admission under project
SAMS for the Academic Session 2021-22

Madam/ Sir,

ln inviting a reference to the subject cited above, I am directed to inform

you that the admission for PG SPOT setection and Admission under SMAS witt be
held as per the guidetines mentioned betow:

1. Fottowing categories of candidates are etigibte to appty:

a) Candidates who were previousty selected & taken admission and/ or
previousty selected & not taken admission in 1st & 2nd setection.
b) Candidates who have appeared CPET -2021 , but not setected in 1st & 2nd
Setection.
c) Candidates who have appeared CPET-2021, but not uptoaded the
graduation mark for some reasons within the stipulated time.
d) Candidates who have appeared CPET-2021, but not exercised the choice
of preferences within the stipulated timetine.
2. Candidates are advised to go through the University/Cottege wise vacant
seat and cut-off mark details at SAMS website before making any selection
of options (University/Cotteges + PG Admission Subject) for admission.
3. Candidate has to provide fresh option (s) for the lnstitutions, where s/he
wants to take admission in order of preference with limit to 03 options onty.
S/he can appty for the subject (s), in which s/he had appeared the entrance
examination (CPET-20211. Options entered earlier in the CAF witt not be
considered for SPOT setection process. Subject wise etigibitity criteria witt
remain intact as per the Common Prospectus.

 4. Candidate has to submit the photocopy of the CAF along with other
certificates, mark sheets from matricutation to Degree and certificates
claiming reservation & weightage, if any at the lnstitution. ln case of non-
submission of photocopy of the CAF & other retevant documents, s/he witl not
be considered for SPOT admission.
5. Universities/Colteges are required to maintain a register as per the format
given below to receive the appticants CAF physicatty at their [eve[. Before
entering details of the appticant coming for submission of CAF and retevant
documents in the register, it is requested to verify whether the appticant's
name is in the tist provided to the respective University/Coltege in their e-
Space and documents thoroughty as wett.

N.B.:

. lf one candidate has apptied for more than one subject in one
university/cottege, then s/he has to submit that much numbers of CAF's
photocopies along with other retevant documents during submission at
university/cottege leve[.

6. Setection list witt be prepared as per the CAFs received at
universities/colleges levet. During preparation of selection [ist, if any error is
found in the CAF, then that can be verified and setected as per the actual
record. After admission up-dation, the actual data can be updated in SAA4S.

The concerned university/coltege witt be hetd responsibte for any

discrepancy, if found in future.

 7. There is no need to deposit the CAF fees. Any type of differential amount
retating to CAF fees wit[ be cotlected during online deposit of admission fees.
8. Reservation and weightage system witt continue (Refer P.G. Common
Prospectus -2021).
9. Setection witl be done on merit (Career Mark + CPET Mark) onty & weightage,
if any.
l0.Candidate's selection tist witt be prepared at university/cottege levet. After
setection of candidate, university/cottege witl update the student tist in
website. After updation, candidate can view the payment detaits at their login
and pay the fees to downtoad the intimation [etter.
11.There will not be anystide up option for SPOT setection. Once.lntimation is
generated, candidate can neither be attowed to remain in the previous option
nor change to another option and other options witt be closed for the
candidate.
l2.Candidate's admission witt be updated at setected University/Cottege [evei as
per the previous selection process.
13.1n addition to the merit [ist as per the existing vacancy, other candidates witt
atso be ptaced in the waiting [ist. ln case the candidates do not turn up for
admission within the stiputated timetine, after a gap of two days,
Universities/Cotteges can pubtish the setection list out of the waiting tist
candidates on category basis and comptete their admission process.
14.1n absence of the etigibte candidates in a category, Universities/Colteges can
de-reserve the remaining seat of that category and fitt the vacancy from the
generaI candidate's poot.
15.For the candidates, who wi[[ take admission in SPOT Setection, Transfer
Certificate witt be issued automaticatty ontine after successfu[ payment of
admission fees. The candidates, who have already joined in one cottege & got
setected in SPOT, witt pay the differential amount.
16.|n spot setection, the state-wide merit tist pubtished eartier for CPET-2021
witt not be taken for consideration.
17.The timetine for SPOT Admission is given betow.

from the waiting list can be setected by desetecting
h) earlier candidates or in absence of the etigibte 3rd-Dec-2021 (2.00PM)
candidates, new candidates can be setected from the
general candidate pool. by de-reserving the same
category seat.
