1. What are responsibilities you have to your community to help our government and your
neighbors in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
The responsibilities that I have to my community to help the local government unit and
fellow neighbors in helping to prevent the spread of the disease are that, discipline should be
well conducted, following the rules given by the local government unit, staying away from
such gatherings and to maintain the proper hygiene imposed by the government, following
such rules would help us to prevent the spread of this disease as well as helping ourselves. To
be a good citizen who follow the rules puts the environment in a much easier situation because
it shows that the individuals within that area are well disciplined.

2. How our government (local and national) responses to the problems currently facing of our
country.
The local government unit responds to the problems the country is currently facing by
following the given orders from the higher ranks. Chain of commands, given by the officials
in order to monitor such happening. They impose laws or orders in area to ensure the safety of
the country like what we are facing right now, the Enhanced Community Quarantine, wherein
only limited individuals, adults specifically are only allowed to go out to buy their necessities
for the family. The government coordinates with other countries to help each other as well.

3. How our fellow Filipino response with our government?

Our fellow Filipino responds with the government by two things, some are disciplined
and some are not. As what we have observed or seen or heard from any kind of information
platforms that there are still some who are not abiding to the rules and regulations imposed
under the government, some are still rebelling, some are not following instructions, even the
officials itself is questionable for their actions, and yet, for us common folk, we respond to the
government by following their orders because it is for our safeness that these orders are made.
The only thing that is keeping us Filipinos to be COVID-FREE is the lack of discipline,
according to some articles the Philippines is at the top 2 in the most cases in Asia. So if asking
how our fellow Filipino people are responding, some responds like this. Since there is number
growing of recoveries, we must pray and maintain the discipline in ourselves.
4. In your own opinion and observation, if you are one of our government officials how will
you respond with the crisis we are facing?
If I am one of the government officials, I would impose a total lock down of 2
weeks. People should stock enough that would last for the time of 2 weeks. There is what
we call the incubation period where in the virus would not be active for a few days resulting
to a negative check-up then after the 2nd check-up it became positive. So if I am one of the
government officials, I would push this order so that it would monitor the people within
my area.

5. NSTP aims to encourage the youth to become civic and/or military leaders and volunteers
whom could be called upon by the nation in case their services are needed. In the event that
our national government called for a volunteers to serve our country to help our front liners
in fighting and saving lives because of this corona virus. How willingly you are going to
serve our country? Or are you willing to volunteer yourself to serve our fellow Filipino.
If given the opportunity, I would volunteer in giving relief operations in certain area
to help our front liners to take a break from their work and to allow us to handle a bit of
their job because health is wealth, people are affected by the virus who are weak in side so
we would not risk to allow the tired people to work. I will be willing to volunteer if I am
given the opportunity to do so.
