By when? What skills and experiences are required? Who is best suited for this task/responsibility? What training or other support is needed? Who else will be involved? What will my role be? What are the risks and benefits? Assignment How can the assignment be expressed using the SMART format? (SMART – Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound) What other information is relevant? Acceptance How will I know that the employee fully understands the assignment? What if the employee does not accept the task/responsibility? Accountability How will I hold the employee accountable? What support will I provide? How will I know if the employee is off track, and what will I do if that happens? Assessment How and when will I provide feedback?
