Point of View: in this story the character “Pelita” or “she” is the main character and is the
protagonist of this story. So it can be concluded that this story uses the main participant, because
"Pelita" or "she" is a character who is actually the narrator himself.

Main of View: in the explanation above, it is stated that the character “Pelita” or “she” is a
character who is actually the narrator himself. So I chose major of view because the main
character in this short story is the narrator.

Plot: in the short story that I made, it has a flashback plot because it will have a back and forth
plot but this story will still be explained clearly until the end of the story.

Exposition: This short story entitled “The Time” has the main character named Pelita who is a
first year student at one of the top universities in her city. Pelita is a girl with a realistic mind.
deal with problems and solve them as well as possible even though his life is a mess. until the
time to meet Pelita with a man named Adam. They lead a relationship that is quite complicated
and time changes everything.

Trouble Introduction: The problem began when Adam was about to continue his education to a
very far away country, Egypt. Pelita with a very realistic mindset must be able to digest what is
going on in her life. Her messy life seems like there is no purpose. when she has found someone
who becomes the spirit in her life, time is not on her side, so Pelita learns that what happens
doesn't have to be her own will.

Conflict:
A. Inner conflict: Of course both parties will feel very deep sadness. broken home.
B. Physical conflict: fighting and violence.

Complications: until the arrival of a woman named "cahya" who will make things worse, Pelita
is increasingly convinced that she and Adam are very different.

Climax: The climax of the problem is when different thoughts try to come together but cannot.
the more obvious the difference. Adam comes from a rich family while Pelita comes from a
simple family. the pelita family is also a mess. Pelita must be able to decide to let go and let go
of the light in her life.

Anti-climax: in the end Pelita and adam make their own choices. giving up on time somehow
brings at the end of what the story is like. pelita that will focus more on loving and believing in
herself without relying on others. trying to improve his life and the lives of his family. make
what has happened as a form of experience for the better.

Resolution: time brings Pelita and Adam to each other's lives. The relationship that was
originally sweet turned out to eventually lead them to a point of separation that taught them a lot
of life lessons. they both carry their own responsibilities. Life is not about love but also about
sacrifice. chasing their dreams, proud parents. they are blocked by distance and the pelita does
not want to wait for something that is not certain.

End: Open End
