Tech-No-Life

In this generation wherein, we are all slave of technology, of modernization, did you
ask yourself how is the world before all the inventions that we are all using today? How is the
world before gadgets are invented? How is the world before internet? And what if, all of a
sudden, we will go back to that time that there are no gadgets, there is no internet, there is no
social media and all the technology that we are enjoying today? Is the life easier and faster? Is
the world quite and better?
Before technology happened, the world is a quite place to leave in. Many years ago,
they depend on their hands and the ability of their body to such a work. They extend effort and
time to finish their task and the means of communication is as slow as a snail. Patience is a
strong force during their time, that they always brought with them. And now, technology
happens, and everything went easier and faster. We do not need so much hands and strength in
order to finish a work because machines are already invented to help man power. There is no
long wait in receiving messages because in a blink of an eye, they already responded. Hundred
percent of people around the world will definitely agree with me that it is a lot better today than
the 50 years ago.
What if we will go back to that “50 years ago”, what would it be a life without
technology? Definitely there is no phone alarm that will wake you up and it is not the phone
that we first check in the morning. We will eat breakfast without thinking that someone might
call or text you. You will go to work with your back-up or sling bag that contains all the written
documents that you finished last night. You have a very well-built body figure because you do
work with your bare hands and with all the strength that you have. You have a very long
patience in dealing with all the works and stuffs. For students, they will definitely go to
libraries, write all the information they needed, take down notes during class hours and not
taking photos or recording the discussion. They are more into readings. Their vacant time will
be spent in sports, in board games, in collaborative games that will enhance their
communication skills and behaviour. Industries and economic businesses will surely in need
of workers, and because of this, everyone will have a stable a job. Poverty might not that high
because agriculture will be in the top of the line. Pollutions into waters, land and air might also
be controlled because there will be no machines to make plastics and will produce toxic air.
The world will be a lot different, it will be a quite place wherein life is about contentment of
what they have.
Life without technology is idealistic and/or realistic as long as there is electricity.
Crimes will not be that high, and can be controlled specially in cyber-crimes. It will be a life
with no burdens because of maintenance, there is no envy because someone have that and you
don’t, there will equality. The bond of parents to their sons and daughters will be a lot tighter,
face to face communication is more important than what is happening in the screen of cell
phones. We will enjoy life more, the environment, and every seconds that we are dealing in to
the world.
