Script – Act One

1. Ext – STREET – DAY

We see a small house on a busy road

2. Int – BEDROOM – DAY

We see ARTHUR VALENTINI, a dishevelled young man sitting at

his computer playing videogames. He is doing well in the game
until he dies to a person with the username TBD. ARTHUR slams
his and the game crashes. Suddenly a notification pops up on
his screen, a friend request from TBD.

ARTHUR
TBD?

ARTHUR clicks on the notification and accepts the friend

request. Seconds pass as message notification from TBD pops
up. The message reads: Arthur Valentini – 18 – heir to the
Valentini Pharmaceutical Company – kicked from his family home
for refusing to start working

ARTHUR
What the…?

ARTHUR types back: Who is this? The typing icon shows, and a
new message appears: It doesn’t matter who we are. You alone
possess the knowledge and skills we need for an assignment.
ARTHUR responds: What do you mean? The typing icon shows again
a new message reading: What if I told you the family you had
always loathed were, in reality, the villains you had always
made them out to be. We see ARTHUR hesitate for a second
before replying: Go on... We see the screen automatically
scroll as pictures of cryptic documents are sent through.
ARTHUR looks shocked he types back the message: This is cool
and all, but what do you expect me to do about this? The
typing icon shows a new message reads: You don’t have to do
this but only you can. ARTHUR sits for a second before
messaging back: What do I have to do? ARTHUR gets up, puts on
a black jumper, black joggers and black trainers then heads
out.
