Task:
1. Complete the addressing table based on the topology given.
2. You can use any switch and router models, but 2960 for switch and 2901 or 2911 router are recommended.
3. Build and replicate the network based on the topology.
4. Configure routers initial configurations
4.1 Configure hostname. (refer to the table for the names)
4.2 Configure legal notification for both routers as “For AOT Network Users only!”
4.3 Secure console connection with “wall”
4.4 Secure secret password as “titans”
4.5 Secure all vty lines with “letmein” password
4.6 Encrypt all plain text password.
4.7 Configure all the necessary interfaces including description such as “Link to [Name of Switch]” Ex. Link to Room 101.
4.8 Save the configuration to the NVRAM.
4.9 . Configure all the host.
5. For router serial interface.
5.1 Choose the router. Go to to physical tab. Turn-off first the router using the on/off button of the router. Choose HWIC-2T. Drag the serial interface panel to the empty slot. Now the
router will have the serial interface. Don’t forget to turn-on the router. Proceed with the wiring connection.
5.2 For serial 0/0/0 as DCE incorporate clock rate with numeric value 64000
Ie. Configure terminal

6. Test connectivity.
