Getting to know Your Majesty and A Nurse

Nurses are an angel figure, because he’s really noble in helping and care for patients
regardless of whether the person’s status. He is so soft and patient when interacting with the
patient. She helps the patient without selfless. Each gentle touch of her hand, like a medicine
that flows into each blood vessel in the body. Sincerity of his heart seemed to create the spirit
of every person sick. The hospitality of words made the patient’s desire to get cured soon.

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, people are urged to apply physical
distancing, after one with another. But for the nurse, she did not daunted to handle directly
infected patients with COVID-19. For this nurse is the humanitarian mission and he is always
ready to be at the forefront of any situation.

Maybe you are afraid to be a nurse, when they are tasked with PPE (Personal
Protective Equipment) which can protect him to avoid risk being infected. Not only during a
global pandemic like this, nurses are really needed, because forever nurse is health warrior.
The world needs you, the world needs a nurse.

All health workers, grow and serve the soul to serve in Sanubari and provide all-
hearted services. Health workers must be proud to serve, give the best and protect the
community. According to Menkes, health workers are a profession with privilage who is
amazing, because they have opportunities and ability to provide services to the public.

As a health worker, we must be able to balance the habits of the people who do
traditional medicine, especially in pedeep or regional areas that are difficult to reach out, so
they are really needed attention by health workers to convey to the public that doing
traditional treatment and without being accompanied by special health workers is really very
bad, because we don’t know what such a way to do by such traditional treatment.

The mistake giving drugs is an event that harms patients but can actually be
prevented. The error rate of giving the drug varies greatly. In America the United States
incident medication errors between 2 – 14% of the number of patients hospitalized, with 1 –
2% that caused patient’s loss in which generally occurred because the wrong prescription
occurs. Drug error is estimated to result in 7000 patients dying per year in the U.S. In 2007
the Association of Indonesia Entire Hospital (PERSII) concluded that the error in giving the
first rating drug was around 24.8% of ten incidents. This study aims to see a picture of the
nurse perception of the causes of medication error in Siloam Hospitals Manado. The research
design used in this study is quantitative descriptive with cross-sectional approach with total
sampling method and the data will be analyzed using univariat analysis. The results show a
nurse perception picture of the cause of medication error include contextual factoring 73%,
20% personal factors, 7% personal factors. This shows that the cause factor for medication
error in Siloam Hospitals Manado is the contextual factor
