Meeting Minutes

Date: 05th Nov 2021


Time: 8.45 AM – 9.00 AM
Venue: Google Meet

The MD & CEO called the meeting to order. She thanked all for being present in the meeting.
The meeting was about the review of performance of the employee. Our company couldn’t fill
the target last year because of the performance of the employee. This meeting was about to find
out the lacking and to take new steps to upgrade the performance of the employee.

The meeting was presided over by the MD & CEO. She read out the agenda and discussed the
same at length. The following discussion hold the meeting.
1. CEO Miss Farzana Sharif raised the issue of the recent crisis that the company is facing.
Regardless of all the remuneration and recreation process, the employees are lacking behind
meeting the target. It is the high time to review the Performance Appraisal sector in order to
mitigate the Issue.
2. Miss. Afrina had studied the full crisis point; everything was in line. The problem that was
found that the right employees were not put in the right position.
3. Mr. Seraj Jeenath Bhuiyan commented that the traditional methods of Performance
Appraisal are being followed, and this may be the cause of such disrupt. Mr. Seeraj suggested
that it is now high time to move to the Modern Method of Investment Appraisal, such as
Management by objective, Phycological Appraisal, Assessment center etc. which can play a
role in mitigating such problem.
4. Mr. Devjoyti Aich also agreed to Mr. Seeraj and stated that this may bring positive impact
to the company. The search for true potential of the employee, motivation, promotion and
transfers, etc can lead to a solution of such issues prevalent.
5. Mr. Abdullah Al Zubair assessed the demerits of the modern method, which includes the
spillover effect, consuming process, horn and halo effect.

After discussions the following resolutions were taken unanimously.


1. Resolved that the MD Traders Ltd. will follow the modern method of Performance
Appraisal.
2. Resolved that the company will follow the modern method for 1 (one) year. If it works
out then we will adopt method.
3. Resolved that the company will change the policy regarding modern method for the
employee.
4. Resolved that the company also review the increments, wages and leave policy within
3 (three) months after adopting the new method.

There being no other point to discuss, the meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair.
