I would give the student a zero score due to the fact that he/she was not able to finish/achieve the objective of the assessment
task. The instruction says to use a set of keywords and phrases in writing the essay. The student was not able to include a single
keyword or phrase being asked from the directions in his/her essay. Also, those keywords and phrases imply that the student should
write an essay about the process of “Plant Photosynthesis”. However, the student’s essay revolved around explaining the importance
of plants rather than what was being asked. He was not able to follow the directions and write the intended content of the essay.
Therefore, the student’s essay is irrelevant and deserves the score of zero.
