WiFi Homologation & Testing Requirements

Notes:

Technical documents and information:

All technical documents and information listed in the attached forms shall be provided with the purchase
order or before it. It is manufacturer’s responsibility to fulfill all and any request of technical information,
to comply with ENACOM data requirements.

List of required technical documents, testing software, instructions and ancillaries for WLAN
802.11b/g/n/ac device approval:

-One sample of the device for conducted testing, including battery and/or power supply. The device
shall include an antenna connector with a cable adapter SMA type male, to be plugged to test
equipment.

- Test software, allowing testing of the following conducted parameters:

a. The lab would select the modulation/Tx data rates /bandwidth / or any other parameter controlled
by the test software, in accordance to the functional values which might be representative for the
measurements.

b. Conducted transmitting power output:

Limits
Attributed Band [MHz]
[W] [dBm]
2400-2483,5 1 -
5150-5250 0,05 (4 +10 log B [dBm])1
5250-5350 0,25 (11 + 10 log B [dBm])1
5470-5600 0,25 (11 + 10 log B [dBm])1
5650-5725 0,25 (11 + 10 log B [dBm])1
5725-5850 1 (17 + 10 log B [dBm])1
1Inthese cases, only will be taken into account the lower of both expressed in [W] or [dBm]. B is the
bandwidth of the signal measured at -26 dB, expressed in MHz.

c. Bandwidth:

⋅ At 2.4GHz shall be greater than 500Kz measured at 6dB under maximum power output.
⋅ At 5725-5850 [MHz] bands shall be greater than 500Kz measured at 6dB under maximum output
power.

d. Undesired emissions outside the frequency bands in operation, must be 20 dB attenuated

compared to the maximum output power.
