Around the World by Magellan written by Antonio Pigafetta. Arrange the EVENTS accordingly

A. Magellan reached Guam they meet the natives called CHAMORRES, supplied his

E. “The Battle of Mactan”. At dawn, Magellan invaded Mactan with an assault army of
9 60 steel-clad Spaniards in three vessels and 1000 Cebuano warriors in 30 boats.

F. Twenty-seven other Spaniards including Barbosa and Serrano were massacred by


10 the Cebuanos.

G. A mass was held on the shore of Cebu. After the mass, Magellan planted a wooden
8 cross, which still exist. Magellan gave a gift of the image of the Santo Nino to Queen
Juana, wife of Raha Humabon.
H. Easter Sunday, Mass held in Masao’s shore) … (other sources say that it was
Limasawa not Masao). It was the first Catholic Mass held in the Philippines.
