INTRODUCTION
Organic Fertilizer refers to a
materials indigenously from plants and
animals added to soil for plant growth. Any
fertilizer product of plant and/or animal
origin like animal manures, green
manures, compost that has undergone
decomposition through biological, chemical
and or any process as long as the original
materials are no longer recognizable, soil-
like in texture and free from plant or
animal pathogens.
Micro-Elements
Manganese
Aluminum
Copper
Molybdenum
Zinc
Iron
Boron
Organically derived materials available to
industry such as sewage sludge may not be
acceptable components of organic farming
and gardening, because of factors ranging
from residual contaminants to public
perception. On the other hand, marketed
"organic fertilizers" may include, and
promote, processed organics because the
materials have consumer appeal. No matter
the definition nor composition, most of these
products contain less-concentrated nutrients,
and the nutrients are not as easily quantified.
They can offer soil-building advantages as well as be appealing to those who
are trying to farm / garden more "naturally".

3. Organic materials will eventually decay, even in a cold compost pile. But
the decay process is speeded up in a hot compost pile. When bacteria and
fungi grow rapidly, they burn a lot of food, and give off a lot of heat. If the
compost pile is big enough, the heat will build up inside the pile. Bacteria
that grow well at high temperatures take over and speed up the decay
process.
Meat scraps- these can attract unwanted animal visitors and create
unpleasant odors. Rotten meat may produce bacteria that can pose
health hazard.
Fats, oils and grease-large amounts of these will give your microbes
indigestion slowing down composting process. It also attracts
unwanted pests.
Dropping from caged birds- Birds droppings may contain dangerous
disease pathogens.
Droppings from dogs, cats, and other carnivores
Human waste: The potential fort spreading diseases. Unsanitary
Diseased plants: disease could spread later when compost is applied
to the plants.
