Position: Business Analyst with experience in testing Location: Abu Dhabi

Job Purpose:
The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of software delivery right from requirement
gathering, analysis, documentation, functional and user acceptance testing. The candidate should work
as individual contributor in quality assurance team with focus on quality of deliverables and process.

Knowledge of testing to influence better software requirements , promote proper engineering practice,
bug prevention strategies, testability, accessibility, privacy, and other advanced quality concepts across
products.

Responsibilities and Desired skill sets of candidate:

• Individual Contributor
• Combination of business analysis and quality assurance expertise
• Effective capturing of business requirements to write the user story and use cases
• Analyze requirements, identify gaps, ensure that acceptance criteria are clear
• Refine existing requirements for testability, ambiguity or redundancy
• Work with the Product Owner to understand the project’s needs requirements
• Strategic, deliberate approach to product development and testing
• Perform user acceptance testing, functional and regression testing
• Design and execute manual test cases
• Provide feedback on usability
• Understanding of networks, databases and other technology
• SQL database background/expertise
• Introduce best practices in testing and project development life cycle
• Challenges the Environment, raise testing standards by experimenting new processes/Adopting
new Tools.
• Work closely with development teams in instrumenting their workflow to build a comprehensive
picture of velocity, coverage and quality
• Involve in Project/ Sprint Planning to define the sprint goals, scrum review meetings, identify the
product backlogs & provide risks/issues to scrum team for quicker remediation
• Use a variety of tools to root out and diagnose hard to find bugs
• Knowledge of Automation testing

Qualification and Experience:

• BE, BS, MS in Computer Science or significant experience in Software Company in various QA
and BA positions with focus on manual testing and Requirement analysis
• Between 3 to 8 years of experience in the software testing environment.
• Excellent understanding of software product life cycle
• Detail oriented and have amazing communication skills; explaining technical problems succinctly
and clear
