warming.

which advocates for people to identify

defined as the devotion of people to
their respective countries. ---- However,
it can be said that patriotism comes
from the actions of one's country, and
nationalism exists regardless of the
actions of one's country.
A) There are many varieties of
nationalism throughout the world,
some of which are beneficial to
society and most of which are
detrimental.
B) The ways in which nationalism can
manifest itself is quite broad, and
could concern the ethnic, cultural or
political background of a country.
C) In Germany, nationalism exists in the
form of German Nationalism where
people of German heritage are
encouraged to be united and identify
with a common nation.
D) While nationalism is seen as noble by
many politicians and citizens, the
political ideology cannot exist without
its critics.
E) Nationalism is comparable to
patriotism, with the two sharing
certain characteristics such the
celebration of a nation’s
achievements by its citizens.

7. Azerbaijan is a secular country that
constitutionally allows freedom of
religion to its citizens. Azerbaijan has
separated state affairs from religious
activities declaring no faith as a state
religion. ---- Its education system has
also been secularized. Islam is the most
common religion with about 93% of the
total population adhering to one of the
two principal forms of Islam- Sunni and
Shia.
A) Therefore, all religious beliefs in the
country are equal before the law.
B) However, it is considered one of the
most irreligious Muslim countries.
C) The enforcement of the state religion
created conflict between Shia and
Sunni.

legal scholars abstain from recognizing
the San Marino Constitution as the

results in either a partial or complete
lack of pigment in the affected person's
skin, eyes, and hair. ---- People with

albinism can be very susceptible to
damage from the sun because they lack
the pigments that would protect them

calculate the number of stars in the
Milky Way, varying from the
mathematical to the quantum. ----
Among the most common views stands
the lower bound in the calculations,
which figure there are around 100
billion stars. Conversely, the upper
bounds of such forecasts claim 400
billion stars lie in the Milky Way galaxy
in which our own solar system is
located.

technology called radar to track storms,

“watch” means thunderstorm

extinction event” where hundreds of
species become extinct and entire

current extinction event is the sixth of
its kind to occur in the Earth’s history
and is primarily caused by human over-
consumption and overpopulation. ----
While the event might seem a slow and
gradual process, reports from The
Science Mag show that the current
extinction event is occurring at a much
faster rate than all five previous mass
extinction events.
A) Fortunately, modern technology in the
form of early warning systems has
made mass extinctions noticeable to
geologists and biologists.
B) Effects caused by Storm Harvey
which hit the southern parts of North
America and the Caribbean are slowly
being contained.

related natural disasters are on the
