Basic Qualifications
Technical Engineering Degree at the Bachelor level or above

Must be able to obtain a security clearance

The candidate must have advanced Mechanical and GD&T skills

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge of AS9100D Quality Systems

CMM programming (Calypso, Modus or similar software)

Experience with laser and vision inspection methods, inspection process development, and/or
troubleshooting CMMs

Ability to develop, apply, and analyze effectiveness of quality methods

Ability to proactively review and develop documentation / drawing for compliance with
requirements

Ability to use tools for documentation and corrective action of non-conformances

Ability to exhibit business professionalism and values

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Advanced interpersonal skills

Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking a CMM Programmer for a position in Orlando, FL. Our operations
utilize state of the art machining centers, laser and vision inspection techniques and CMM’s to
produce and validate hardware for sophisticated missile systems. This exciting role will offer the
opportunity to work with multiple hardware and launcher programs that support our military
personnel. This opportunity is ideally suited for a CMM Programmer with interest in working with
advanced critical machining processes.

The Engineer will work on complex technical problems and provide solutions that are highly
innovative and ingenious. The Engineer will act independently to uncover and resolve issues
associated with the development and implementation of quality inspections and supporting
machining processes. As a subject matter expert, the individual should exhibit an exceptional
degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness and is viewed as a leader within the field. The
Engineer will develop information which extends knowledge in the field; develops new concepts
and will participate in teams assembled to accomplish long-range objectives. The Engineer will
contribute to proposals and may participate on business capture efforts.

The Engineer will collaborate with other disciplines to include manufacturing engineers, CMM
operators, tool technicians, manufacturing support personnel, the customer, program
management, design engineers, and tool designers on production operations in a CNC
Machining environment. The engineer may attend industry conferences and will keep up-to-date
on related industry best practices.

Candidates must able to work second shift (4:00 PM to 2:30 AM). Availability to flex work hours
may be available to work a split shift (12:30 AM to 11:00 PM ). 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM is the
earliest split shift that is considered 2nd shift position.

A level 3 employee typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Desired skills
Secret level security clearance with a resent investigation within the past 5 years

Experience in Polyworks and VxElements

Effective time management and good organizational skills

SAP knowledge

Knowledge of statistical process control analysis using PiiWeb



Familiar with open set-up inspection techniques

Work Schedule Information


Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility
to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while
others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
