Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year in development and production work.

• Ability to train other technicians on how to execute a process.

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing environment, operating, and working with high-tech


production machinery, i.e. CNC machines, additive manufacturing, welding, AM polymer
machines, robotic welding, CMM or similar.

• Hands on experience with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height


gages, precision scales etc.).

• Must have ability to lift, push, pull and carry items up to 50 pounds.

We are seeking an Additive Manufacturing Technician Specialist to support Manufacturing


Operations at our Waterton facility in Littleton, CO.

This role will require you to be organized with exceptional attention-to-detail. You will collaborate
with manufacturing engineers, technicians, and other key essential team members supporting
manufacturing.

Typical Experience:

Individuals in this role typically have 3 years of relevant professional work experience with an
Associates degree or 7 years of relevant work experience. Qualified candidates must have the
ability to work independently.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:

• Contribute to the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for safe
and effective usage of all equipment.

• Set-up LPBF AM print jobs, verify machine settings against production specifications, oversee
the print process and quality as the machine operates.

• Safely handle the metal powder before and after the build, this includes sieving, loading, part
de-powdering, measuring, and safe storage.

• Manage the life cycle of the metal powder material, maintain part-powder traceability, as well as
coordinate powder suppliers and powder recycling services.

• Operate in the metal additive lab with occasional polymer support.

• Pull tensile bars and perform preventive routine maintenance on the machines and troubleshoot
manufacturing hardware.

• Provide training to new manufacturing staff.

Desired skills
• 1+ years working as an additive (powder bed) technician.

• Experience in a startup or agile development environment.

• Experience working in a flight development program.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace or other precision production environment.

• Strong communication skills and ability to read and provide feedback on technical documents.

• Hands on experience with a variety of machining tools.

• Capable of diagnosing and fixing issues and documenting topics.

• Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus.



• Experience with metal powders is a plus.

• Experience with one or more AM technologies.

• Inspection and VECAMs experience a strong plus.
