Playing a Changeling
Add 1 to your Communication ability.
Pick one of the following ability focuses: Communication
(Deception), Dexterity (Legerdemain), or Intelligence
(Cultural Lore).
You have Dark Sight, which allows you to see up to 20 yards
in darkness without a light source.
You gain a specialized form of the spell illusory guise. You
can only use this ability on yourself, it actually changes your
shape instead of creates an illusion, and it affects only your
physical being, not any worn or carried items. You may
appear as any race you like, though appearing as a specific
person requires a Communication (Deception) test, against
the target’s Perception (Empathy), possibly modified for the
relationship the target may have with the actual person. Using
this ability is a major action.
Your speed is equal to 10 + Dexterity (minus armor penalty
if applicable).
You can speak and read the Common Tongue and two other languages of your choice.
Roll twice on the Changeling Benefits table for additional benefits. Roll 2d6 and add the dice together. If you get the
same result twice, re-roll until you get something different.
