Slide 1- Human resource management includes the development and implementation of strategies of
people and which are required to be integrated with the corporate strategies and required to ensured
that the culture, values and structure of the organization and motivation and commitment of employees
helps in achieving the goals. HRM includes the process of acquiring, training, appraising and
compensating employees for the safety and fairness.

HRM practices helps in managing the people in order to achieive the goals and objectives of the
organization. It includes the all the management decisions and practices which directly affects the
people and influence the human resource.

Objectives of HRM includes the attainment of goals by providing the trained and motivated employees.
It is to enhance the job satisfaction of employees by encouraging and assisting employees. It helps in
maintaining the ethical policies and behavior inside and outside of the organization.

Mercedes Benz is a multinational brand of the German automobile manufacturer, Daimler AG.
Mercedes-Benz ranked among the top global premium car brand. Human resource management is
necessary for managing the employees and expanding the business. It was founded by Karl Benz on June
28, 1926 and it’s headquarter is in Stuttgart, Germany. In the operations, employees are required for
commencing the operation in UAE. The strategies are required to be adopted for running the business
and growth and development of the business.

Major functions of HRM

HRM functions include the managerial and operative function. Managerial includes the planning
organizing, Directing and controlling. Planning is essential for giving the organization a goals and
direction for establishing the best procedure for reaching to goals. It requires the assessment of present
and future needs.

Organizing- After planning about the requirement of employees in Mercedes, manager is required to
develop the personnel manager for designing and developing the organization structure for the
operations. It includes the grouping of personnel activity, assignment of different groups of activities to
