"BECOMING A LIFETIME READER"

Becoming a lifetime reader is very significant, but what makes people become a
lifetime reader?. For me, we become a lifetime reader when we discover that reading is what
makes us discover new things, learn, grow, and ultimately change. We become readers when
we find the book that let us laugh or cry or wonder what if and why. We become readers when
we realize that through a book we can lose ourselves and if lucky, find ourselves. We become
readers when we can see that through a book, we can get into another person, we can go to
another place, experience another things.

But a person do not become a lifetime reader if their reason why they read is to raise
lexile, pass a test, or prove they have mastered a standard. That might create a skill, but it
won't creste a pasion.
