Answer: It is wrong, because according to bible. Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor,
doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need.
Ephesians 4:28

Stealing is taking property or possessions that rightfully belong to other people, without the
right or permission to do so. And the consequences of stealing according to bible is,“Whoever steals a

Answer: It is wrong because,Vote buying is rarely an isolated action, and it perpetuates corruption
throughout the entire political system. When a candidate chooses to pay for support, rather than
compete fairly for votes, they show a disregard for democratic norms and a willingness to use illegal
means.

Broadly speaking, vote buying obstructs the democratic process by interfering with the rights of
citizens to freely decide who will represent them and their interests. “This can result in the candidate
with the deepest pockets winning the election, rather than the candidate who would best serve their
constituents.

Assignment
1. Explain the meaning of the following:

■LAW - Law is a set of rules in a country that are given to every citizen and every citizen should abide by
them.

■ PROMULGATION - Promulgation is the formal proclamation or declaration that a new statutory or

administrative law is enacted after its final approval. In some jurisdictions, this additional step is
necessary before the law can take effect.

■ DOES LAW LIMIT FREEDOM? WHY? - The existence of the law does not limit our freedom whatsoever.
It is the consequences of breaking the law that potentially limit our freedom, but it is not because of the
consequences themselves.

■ WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HUMAN & DIVINE LAW? - Human rights are fundamental
inalienable rights that you have just by virtue of the fact that you are a person. Although the
government can pass laws to protect your human rights, human rights are rights believed to be granted
by God or by some higher power and everyone has human rights even if legislation doesn't protect them
or if oppressive governments do not respect them.Divine law is any law that comes directly from the
"will of God" in contrast to man-made law.

■ HOW CONSCIENCE DEFINE? - An inner feeling or voice viewed as acting as a guide to the rightness or
wrongness

Assessment/Evaluation

1. Why there is Law?

Ans: Because people needs Laws to protect our general safety, and ensure our rights as citizens against
abuses by other people, by organizations, and by the government itself. We have laws to help provide
for our general safety.

2. What happen if there is no laws to be followed?

Ans: If a country will not have laws and order then it will be real hard to govern it . people may kill each
other as there will be no reason to arrest him or something. A place without any law and order could be
dangerous for anyone as his/her rights can easily be violated.

3. How do you understand the law of God and law of man?

Ans: God's law or divine law is the source of all earthly laws. The author of the divine law is mighty and
powerful of all. Before earthly law or man's law created, there was already a law created by God the
owner of the universe. Like for example do not kill, do not steal, do not commit adultery etc. these were
already mentioned by God long before during the time of Moses. Now, to have peace and order. Man
created a law which was taken from the holy bible. Like for example killing is unlawful therefore if
someone commits this crime he/she must be put into prison. If you steal something from your
neighbor's house you will also go to jail same with adultery. God has a standard of all things, when we
say adultery. On earth adultery is only taking someone's wife or a husband, but in God it is just more
than that. Staring someone with malice in his/her mind he/she is already committed adultery.

4. Do good and avoid evil, Does it mean you are already perfect in following God's law? Why?

Ans: No, because according to bible our God was asking a lot, but not that. It is interesting that all the
translations stick with the word ‘perfect’ for Matthew 5.48. The Christian calling is not a calling to
perfection. It is a calling to remain uncomfortably with our imperfections so that God’s glory can shine
all the more powerfully.

5. How does conscience works in you?

Ans: We Christians need to have the kinds of conscience that deeply rooted in Christ and the Holy spirit.
For we can't just rely on ours. Conscience is the ability to know one's mistakes and to correct wrong
thinking and works that we will do. But it can do wrong if it is not from God; we can suffer from its
consequences. We need to study and express in real life the word of God and put Him the first priority
at all things; we should not be proud to much of ourselves: we should correct what generations now do
and never waste time at things that are in vain.

Assignment

1. What is capital punishment? Are you in favor of this issue?

Ans: Explanation:Capital punishment, also known as the death penalty, is a government-sanctioned
practice whereby a person is killed by the state as a punishment for a crime. The sentence that someone
be punished in such a manner is referred to as a death sentence, whereas the act of carrying out the
sentence is known as an execution.

For me, punishing sinned people with death penalty equivalents to a greater sin in the eyes of
God. You don't have the right to take someone's life because you do not own them. Wether you are a
president, a king or what so ever.

Why?

Ans: I Disagree, because we are we and we shouldn't change who we really are. We should learn to
accept ourselves not to be accepted. God gave what he wants for you. There are also disadvantages of
Plastic Surgery. The obvious risk of plastic surgery is that it not only involves complications but also the
risk of receiving bad work. This is for sure, no one wants to spend substantial amount money to look
even worse that before or to be affected by side effects involved in plastic surgery. In order to clarify all
the possibilities of plastic surgery, whether good or bad, you should consult your doctor before you plan
any surgery for you. This will assist you in knowing the risks involved and to get prior knowledge of the
medications to which your body reacts unpredictably. With cosmetic surgeries, results may be
unrealistic, not up to the expectations of the person undergoing surgery.
