IMPROVED COMMUNITY INTERACTION THROUGH CONTEXT
BASED CITATION ANALYSIS MIKE 2017 | Hyderabad, Telangana State
• Traditional citation networks tend to leave out a lot of articles which are related
to a community but have not been directly cited by the it’s members, resulting
in inaccuracy in the parameters calculated to study community interactions. In
this work, we tend to perform a more accurate community interaction study by
proposing a context-aware citation network which allows inclusion of papers to
a community which have both direct as well as indirect relevance to the existing
members of the community.

ENHANCING CONTIKI OPERATING SYSTEM USING

In this work, we explore how aggregation algorithms implemented on the
MAC layer and Network layer may be beneficial and instrumental in reducing
communication and packet traffic in the network, and thus leading to saving
energy and prolonged lifetime of the network.

The project involved 100GB of data of the Microsoft Academic Database
containing data about publications and citations of publications, lending a
network of 5 million nodes and 15 billion edges. The network was analyzed to
calculate various metrics which included: Expansion, Cut Ratio, Fraction over
Median Degree, Conductance, Flake Odf and Inwardness.

Developed Exam Cell Software which is currently installed and working in
IIIT, Allahabad in a team of 5. The software automates the manual tasks of the
employees of the exam cell in IIIT Allahabad such as generation of transcripts,
grade cards, declaration of results, admitting new students etc. The software
comprised 25 tables and more than 15K SLOC.
