Please refer to SWR's letter No.C.200/DC-WF/Policy/2021 dated 16.11.2021 regarding


provision in FOIS for accepting the code of handling agent in Debit/Credit module.

As per Board's circular under reference (i), Debit/Credit Scheme of Demurrage ts


customer specific.

Vide Board's letter under reference (ii) it has been clarified that the debit/credit scheme is
customer specific and customer may avail it through his/her handling agent.

Debit/Credit Scheme of Demurrage is applicable to customer only and not handling agent
of customer. Handling agent is allowed as a liaison between customer and Railways. Therefore,
provision of code of handling agent is not desirable as the customer code is sufficient under
existing Debit/Credit scheme.
