- The biopsychosocial model of crime causation that are connected which the bio, psycho and socio that
may affect to a person's life. As far as I understand in this theory the 3 components which are the bio,
psycho and socio have a big impact to an individual if he/she affected by those 3 components that lead
an individual to have anxiety or depression and can also affect to him/her in well-being.

- A person suffering from premenstrual syndrome may commit crime or may commit suicide if she
experience just before or during menstruation that might lead her to have antisocial behavior that could
lead her commit suicide and commit crime if theirs another person a helping or assisted a person to
commit a suicide ( Article 253 of Revised Penal Code).

- Battered child syndrome it simply indicates that a child found with serious, repeated injuries has not
suffered those injuries by accidental means. According also to (Kempe, 1962) a medical diagnosis based
on evidence indicating that the child has been subjected to a pattern of serious and unexplained abuse.

- For me the worst effect of a battered child syndrome is that it cause trauma to a child and it may also
adapt the child if he becomes also a father to his children because it was registered on his mind to abuse
his children base on his experience.

- The battered women syndrome is women who are stuck within or have recently left violent
relationship characterized by the cycle of violence. The cycle of violence emphasizes physical violence
but “physical abuse rarely occurs without psychological abuse”. The woman in this case who is the victim
of battery or beating from the husband or partner may eventually kill the husband and if the psychiatrist
during trial can establish that the woman is suffering from the said syndrome then she may be exempted
from criminal liability.

Postpartum stress syndrome-is an emotional reaction which falls between baby blues and postpartum
depression. Also known as Adjustment Disorder, 20% of those women who have baby blues go on to
experience postpartum stress syndrome. Postpartum stress syndrome is characterized by a sadness which
seeps into a woman’s pores and permeates her life. It causes feelings of anxiety and self-doubt.

Postpartum psychosis-is caused by multiple factors is uncommon with only one in one thousand women
developing PPP within few days after childbirth, it can dramatically affect everyone involved. Some new
mothers suffering psychosis may have to be hospitalized for a short term or, even rarer; an unfortunate
few who do not receive the right treatment in time may harm themselves or their child.

Postpartum stress syndrome is characterized by a sadness which seeps into a woman’s pores and

The worst effect of postpartum psychosis is committing suicide or killing her new born baby if a woman
could not be treated also she may having signs like hearing voices or sounds but no else hears or she
could not control her thoughts, as if someone else were controlling her.

they don't have any role in the revolution in capitalist society unlike the rich people ( bourgeoisie) and
middle class they have roles.

- Conflict theory is the struggle of the classes which are the upper, middle, lowest classes because of
crime. It sees that crime is defined by having a power. Which it is very prominent if an individual have a

- For me I agree of Vold's idea of crime causation because basically people who commit crimes are
violators that interact with the conflict theory especially that the law are created by politically-oriented
groups which is crime is the consequence of their control society cause if there's no law there's no
crime.

- Social Reality of crime is the realization of today's generation that only the wealthy individuals are
have benefits in all other aspects of life especially the law but aside of that poor people are the one who
condemned because of the situations that they have which they have conflict groups. It shows that in
this lesson that law is are being hold by those who have more power in the society.

- For me I agree with the statement of Richard Quinney that those who hold power will be the ones to
create the laws that benefit because they are the one making of it and could someone they are the one
that could have the privilege to that law aside from wealthy people the low class people are only a
member of a society which there are instances that anytime they do such crime because of the unfair
treatment or living.

Conservatism theory

- Assumes that Ideal society which authority is questions in society. Human nature is egoistic that need

Criminals are predators and their as result of crime profit if their mind and body. Also the fear of crime
was promoted for such heinous crime and emphasizing the failure of rehabilitation, probation and etc.

Liberalism theory

- Assumes that ideal society have equality and opportunity and general census that accept
differences reward as the outcome of fair competition. Liberalism is completely the opposite of
conservatism. In which, liberalism can be compared to a democratic form of government in
which everybody’s opinion is respected and that what matters most is fairness and equality
among the populace while conservatism can be related to a communist form the government in
which the power of the government is absolute and it controls the behavior and actions of its
populace.

- The difference between rightist from leftist ideology is that rightist is that racial and ethnic minorities
are favored to keep more capable groups from becoming strong enough to challenge “the system” while

promoted by the “ruling classes” to keep the work force divided, thus more easily controlled. Which the

represent a single underlying tendency because people are influence different factors as they mature and
this factors are the multiple social and economic factors that influence criminally that affect criminality
may change over time. Example of multiple factors are maladaptive personality traits, educational
failure, and family relations which a person may encounter over a time.

maturity brings fewer opportunities, early social control like proper parenting can reduce criminal

altered, influence or change by experience.
