Shopping in Great Britain.

Aims:
- to revise the vocabulary on the topic “Shops”;
-         to find necessary information in the text while listening and reading;
-         to develop pupils' speaking and listening skills on the topic;
-         to improve reading skills;
-         to develop positive attitude to English.
The equipment:  book “English 6 by O. Karpiuk”, copybook, multimedia system,
handouts, cards (names of shops and things to buy).
The type of the lesson: combined.
The expecting result: the pupils will be able to know names of shops, to talk about
shopping in Britain, to understand the song in English about shopping.
Procedure
I
1. Greeting.
T. Good morning, dear children! I am very glad to see you. I see that all of you are
present and I’d like to start our lesson.
2. Organizing moment.

1. Aims: Today we are going to speak about shops and shopping in Great Britain.
It is very important and interesting, because we need a lot of things for our life. At
the end of the lesson you will be able to use the active vocabulary; to find
necessary information in the text while listening and reading; to talk about
shopping in Britain, to understand the song in English about shopping.
2. Speaking.
T. You know that we can buy different products and goods at the different shops.
On the board you can see the names of shops. What kinds of shops are there?
