Subject-Sealed Quotation for Providing Canteen Services at BBNL Corporate

Office East Kidwai Nagar New Delhi.

Bharat Broadband Network Limited (BBNL) Corporate Office is situated at 3 rd

Floor, Office Block-1, East Kidwai Nagar New Delhi. Total working strength is about
120.

BBNL intends to hire Agency for starting the canteen services in Corporate
office .It is requested that the rates for providing Tea/Snacks/Lunch etc. may be quoted
as per proforma attached as Annexure-1.
The terms and conditions shall be as given below.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The vendor should have license to provide catering services.

2. Adequate staff will be deployed to ensure smooth service of canteen.
3. BBNL shall provide free, water, electricity , kitchen infrastructure
(equipment),Cooking ware and Serving utensils
4. The Police verification etc. of antecedents of personnel deployed by vendor shall
be the responsibility of vendor.
5. The vendor shall ensure that all fruits, vegetables and other products are fresh,
hygienic and fit for human consumption.
6. The vendor shall use good quality branded cooking medium and ensure that only
standard material /ingredients for cooking and serving are to be used.
7. Certain items like vegetables, Rice, Snacks etc may be prepared outside and
served hot in the canteen.Chapatis are to be prepared in the canteen kitchen.
8. The services shall be provided during office hours i.e. 09.30 am to 06.00 pm.
Sometimes, snacks and meals may be required to be served before/after office
hours and also on Saturdays and Sundays.

 9. The directions of the canteen committee constituted by BBNL for supervision and
monitoring of canteen services will have to be complied in all respect. The
committee may test and taste food/drink items and contractor will not charge for
such items.
10. The prices amount quoted/agreed are deemed to be inclusive of all taxes & levies
applicable.
11. The initial contract will be for a period of Three Months which may be extended
with mutual consent at the same rates or rates agreed between vendor and
Canteen Committee if service is found satisfactory.
12. The contract may be terminated by giving notice from either side. However if it
is found that there is gross misconduct, negligence non-compliance of orders,
BBNL shall have right to terminate the contract immediately without any notice.
13. The vendor will sign MOU after award of work with terms and conditions as above
and mutually agreed.
14. BBNL shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or theft of any stores /articles
intended for sale or otherwise.
15. For any loss or damage to any person due to supply of adulterated food or drinks
items supplied from the pantry, contractor will be solely responsible and
indemnify BBNL.
16. The vendor will not sale any food item from BBNL premises to outside persons.
17. The vendor will keep kitchen and cafeteria area neat & clean.
18. All materials for cleaning utensils, upkeep of kitchen etc. will have to be arranged
by the agency at its own cost.

Before quoting rates, the agency may visit BBNL Office on any working day between
03-04 PM up to 14/05/2019.
The rates/quotation duly signed by the authorized person along with other documents in
sealed envelope may be submitted in this office latest by 1500 hrs on 16/05/2019
