EXT. EMPTY FIELD - NIGHT (DREAM)

Jess walked through an empty field , a million thoughts raced

through her mind. Who's voices were rushing through her head
and what did they want?

She came to a halt. She began to shake and her knees became
weak, her nose started to drip with blood until she fell to
the ground.

INT. BEDROOM - MORNING

Jess awoke in a panic only to hear the sound of birds

chirping in the trees nearby.

She sat up comfortably and removed the covers from over her.
She felt a shiver, there was something in the air today.
Something unusual.

All she could hear was the birds in the distance which was
odd because usually her house would be quite loud since she
had 4 younger sisters. She hated being the oldest and 17 was
such a strange age to be.

INT. STAIRS - MORNING

Jess runs down the stairs in a panic trying to see if anyone

is home or whether she is alone.

INT. KITCHEN - MORNING

Jess sat at the table in a mix of panic and confusion. Where

had everyone gone and why was she alone? She sat and stared
at the wall for what seemed like hours until she heard a
voice.

VOICE
Jess...

Jess turns to look round the kitchen in confusion as she had

never heard this voice before. Leading to her giving a reply.

JESS
Mum? Kate? Hello?

She didn't get an answer. So Jess then decided to get up and

start getting ready for the day still feeling very uneasy
about the day to come.

In an attempt to calm her nerves she decides to take a small

walk through some of the small backroads.

EXT. ROAD - MIDDAY

Jess had been walking for quite some time now and not came
across one person. She was scared. Every possible situation
rushed through her head sending her into a spiral of doubt.
She stopped at the side of the road and perched herself on
the curb.

And then she heard the voice again.

VOICE
Jess... Jess...

She turned her head either way and then began to tear up
seeing nothing and no one (that could be talking to her) in
any direction.

VOICE
It's okay Jess.

Jess started to violently shake her head as the voice began

to hum an overwhelming tune. And then it stopped.

EXT. MAZE FIELD - DUSK

The voices still humming through her head Jess running

through the maze field watching dusk slowly fading into
darkness.

Suddenly everything stops. The humming, everything that was

once overwhelming. Silence.

VOICE
This isn't over yet Jess.

Once again. The silence was only temporary. Jess finds

herself running out of the maze field straight into the
depths of the woods in front of her.

EXT. EMPTY FIELD - NIGHT

As Jess starts to run out of breathe, gradually slows from a

run to a fast paced walk. All in an attempt to escape the
voice supposedly in her head.

Looking round only to realise that she is in the middle of an

empty field. On her own. In the middle of nowhere.

Jess starts to look around for a way to get out the field and
sees nothing except darkness endlessly for miles.

The humming is starting to get louder. She begins to start

questioning if the voice is in her head or whether she is
there with something or someone that she can't see.

VOICE
Jess.

Jess turns around expecting to see something. She sees

nothing but open field.

VOICE
Wrong way Jess.

Jess turns in confusion to again see nothing. She then looks

in every direction to see that she's there alone.

VOICE
You thought you found me.

JESS (TREMBLING)
Y-Yeah, that's why I followed you.

VOICE
Maybe next time...

Jess is standing in the middle of the open field all alone

after the voice goes silent. Standing there never to find out
who it was or where it came from. Suddenly she feels a drip
of blood come from her nose.
