OF THE GIFT OF THE MAGI

“JIM AND DELLA”

Hi! Everyone my name is Gelian R. Pabulayan 9-HUMILITY and my adviser is Sir Zedfrey
Jessy P. Gabiola i will introduce to you the story of “THE GIFT OF THE MAGI” I will choose the
topic theme because the theme is about sacrifice to each other i will choose these topic
because its many experience to sacrifice and let's start to analyze my idea and my experience
about the story.The theme of this story is that being willing to sacrifice for someone else is the
best way to show you care.In the story, both of the characters want to get the other something
they would like and they are both ready to give up their prized possessions. I can say in the
story again that is a lesson for us because now like we are experiencing a pandemic our salaries
are low especially and christmas is approaching they want to give to each other but just like jim
and della who dont they budget they will still really work their way maybe many are suffering or
in need now because of what we are experiencing now.Are you ready for christmas? Do you
really need to give a Christmas gift?Do you really need to be excited at christmas?

I just want to say in the story “THE GIFT OF THE MAGI” is that they sacrifice for each
other because it says that when you love someone you will do everything just for what he
wants because kits della and jim they want to give to each other but they won't have a budget
because their income is low they both thought they would sacrifice because they love each
other if i did i would also sacrifice because i love that person and it is also important to give a
gift for a relationship he said during the homily last week let's not wait for christmas lets wait
for the coming of the lord based on my experience every christmas we give a gift to the family
even if we are in need or we don't have the budget we make it a way to buy what each of our
family members wants.Its so happy that you can see that your families are also happy because
even so only small things are given to each other is happy that love is not measured by giving a
gift you can always see that in your family even if its not christmas it's okay that you have a
hard time sacrificing at least worth it the things you gave him and became he's happy there are
even other people who save just for a christmas gift and it's also called sacrifice and
saving,maybe if you really want to buy that thing you can't buy it because you need to put the
money in you piggy bank.There are many ways to sacrifice as long as we always remember that
giving a gift is important and if you want to give something to us you loved ones you will
sacrifice. And even if it's just a simple Christmas, as long as the important thing is that were
happy , I said that the gifts are also important for each other , but even if you have gifts, you
don't have any food ready,that's okay because at least you give something to each other and
it's fun.. You, even if it's just a small thing, were happy at least together saying “FAMILY IS
LOVE” .It isn’t the material gifts that matters, it's the thought because you can only use the gifts
when it's damaged and its gone but thinking is still give because you can't live it you dont
think.Let us also practice unity and love  because love is incomparable  to anything even if you
have a rich family or whatever but you don't have love and unity as if we are not a family.

In the end ,neither of them was actually able to use the gifts they received. However,
they both still had good christmases, because the thought is what really matters.Based on my
conclusion, i will put together what really happened in the story “THE GIFT OF THE MAGI” that
they prepare food because they just help the unemployed or the unemployed who suffer
because they don't have a job or the others are not given food but gifts because when you see
happy the one you helped is like your ease and and the sweetness feeling not only we have a
family to give but also other people because are in need now during the pandemic so we can
learn to give to others life is happier when you help other people you are rich you are not wise
to help because this story is like we give to each other and work together because christmas is
coming but we don't just give Christmas, maybe that's why i also explained the cooperation
because this is the upcoming story of “THE GIFT OF THE MAGI” you know it's so much fun
because i found this story because i realize that's why they do,don't sacrifice everything
because when you finish sacrificing it,its very happy because what you gavel its so happy you
just see that he's happy you can get rid of your tiredness many young people are fascinated this
story.And jim's reaction was happy because della cut his hair so that della could give something
to jim. Imagine that he lengthened his hair for a long time and then he cut it just for his
christmas gift to jim. Love is important because we can’t say that maybe we are still alive so we
should always love each other and this is also what the lord is that is a command of good to us.
