Title of Experiment: Gaseous Exchange

Aim: To draw, label and annotate the external structure of a

Fish’s gill

Apparatus/Materials: fish gill, scalpel, knife, ruler, pencil, pen, petri fish,
Water, white tile

Method:
1. A knife was used to remove the gills from a fish.
2. The gills were placed in a petri dish and rinsed off with water.
3. The gill was placed on a white tile where the external view of the fish gill
was drawn, labelled and annotated.
4. Magnification was calculated using the appropriate formula.
