For the proposed piers within the Kuda Oya main waterway,
the design has been changed with removing the tie beams to
minimize disturbance to the flow discharge at the waterway.

estimated and produced in the report submitted for the
Estimation of Scour Depths at Viaduct from Stn. 43+770
to Stn. 46+053

Pier foundation designs changed to remove the tie beams
hence interference of tie beams for waterway will not
arise to develop hydrology head.
