C. HOUSE DRAIN
Under Table 7-5 (Revised National Plumbing Code of the Philippines), for a 303 FU, it could be served by a 125 mm Ø pipe
Thus, the recommended size of the House Drain for the said proposal is 125 mm Ø pipe
Note:
It is recommended under any circumstance that a minimum of 2% slope should be maintained
D. CLEAN OUT
Note: Each horizontal drainage pipe shall be provided with a cleanout at its upper terminal
Each cleanout shall be installed so it opens in the direction of the flow to allow cleaning of the soil or wast
line or at right angles thereto
D. SEPTIC VAULT
2 The liquid depth shall not be less than .60 m. or more than 1.80 m.
3 The second compartment of the septic tank shall have a minimum capacity of 1 cu. m. and a maximum
capacity of 1/3 of the total capacity of the tank
4 Access to each septic tank shall be provided by at least two (2) manholes 508 mm. minimum dimension or
by an equivalent removable slab.
5 Liquid Capacity of all septic tank shall conform to Tables B-2 and B-3 of the Natl. Plumbing Code of the Phil.
As determined by the number of bedrooms or apartment units in dwelling occupancies and the estimated
waste/sewage flow rate or the number of plumbing fixture units determined from Table 7-2, whichever is
greater.
