Pralotech Solutions is a leading System integrator in India providing complete turnkey solutions
on BOO & BOOT basis including facility management services, Smart Cards applications,
Document Management System (DMS), Work Flow Management and Manpower Deployment.

Pralotech Solutions has successfully completed many e-governance projects for the various
departments of Govt of Karnataka and has won accolades for its superior service delivery, timely
execution of projects and the quality of the deliverables. PRALOTECH SOLUTIONS is being
trusted by many clients who are looking for reliable and quality services for their business.
PRALOTECH SOLUTIONS is currently operating and managing in Bangalore and giving
services to e-commerce business services.

Pralotech Solutions adopted project team and dedicated organization structure. In project-based
organization, the project managers directors have a high level of power to oversee and control
the project assets. The project manager in this structure has downright power over the project
and can secure assets expected to fulfill project targets from inside then again outside the parent
organization, subject just to the extension, quality, furthermore, budget constraints are identified
in the project.
CHAPTER 1
Introduction about the Organization and Industry
The active participation of its multi-disciplinary Assignment Execution Team, Pralotech
Solutions has emerged as a leader in India and has established itself in the field of software
development, data processing, data conversion, digital printing, Digitization, System
integration, smart card personalization, IT facility management and other IT enabled services.
Pralotech Solutions LLP, incorporated in end of 2018, is a professionally managed, rapidly
growing, multifaceted Information technology company. The company is actively involved in
developing automation and e-Governance solutions for Transport, Social Security, Citizen
Identity, Education, Public Distribution System, Retail Management and a host of other
application areas.

In the project-based structure, staff is particularly relegated to the project and report
specifically to the project manager. The project manager is in charge of the execution
evaluation and vocation movement of all undertaking colleagues while on the project. This
prompts expanded project faithfulness. Complete line power over undertaking endeavors bears
the project manager solid undertaking controls and brought together lines of correspondence.
This prompts quick response time and enhanced responsiveness. In addition, project work

online class takers. An online platform with free courses in JavaScript, HTML and CSS, and
jQuery. Plus, anyone can create a course and share it with aspiring programmers.

Being in a simulated real-world environment with constant mentorship enables engineering


graduates to learn independently. They can pull through a number of different scenarios, as

Human Resources (HR)


HR office is the arising area in the new time of corporate world. In the new era of business, the
Human Resources department is the burgeoning sector. Big businesses had previously ignored
HRM. Today, the situation has changed, and the majority of businesses are putting a greater
emphasis on human resource management. The main reason is that people, not machines,
power the organization. In order to achieve long-term success in business, it is critical to
maintain these human resources. There is no denying that the workplace is fast evolving. HRM
must be prepared to deal with the effects of the changing workplace as part of a company. This
is important to them entails comprehending the effects of globalization, technological
advancements, and worker diversity. Changing skill requirements, continual improvement
programmes, and a contingent workforce are all factors that must be considered.
As with many aspects of business, HR is one function that some businesses now outsource. By
handing over responsibility to an outside agency to find, hire, manage, and pay qualified
workers, the company can stay focused on developing its core competencies. At least that’s the
thinking, which seems to be gaining ground.
Some different types of organizations that will handle your HR responsibilities include:

Professional employer organization (PEO) – PEOs assume complete responsibility


for all aspects of your HR function. That includes finding and hiring workers and
setting their pay rate. Employees work for both the PEO and your company.

Human resource outsourcer (HRO) – Companies uncomfortable with handing over


all responsibility and control of their employee base may be happier with an HRO,
which handles all HR activities but does not actually employ workers
E-services – Using an online HR platform enables small businesses to maintain control
of their HR activities while leveraging information technology to do it more
efficiently.
The issue to be addressed is decentralized work sites and employee involvement. It is now a
significant issue. HRM faces a difficulty in assisting the organization by delivering the finest

individuals for the job. In the smallest amount of time, choose a suitable position. Starting with
recognising the openings and making plans, It is a huge task for them. Furthermore, choosing
and attracting qualified people, as well as picking them is difficult so as to find the best
individual at the right time. The expense of recruitment is substantial. As a result, adequate
planning and formulation of those plans are essential. A task that demands more concentration
and progress Equal opportunity and sourcing are also important factors. Recognizing this
requirement, we set out to determine the differences and similarities between theoretical and
practical applications factors, as well as the company's practical actions. The Human
Resources department is responsible for the following functions in the management of
employees:
The acquisition process includes the following steps: recruitment, confirmation, and re-
contracting
• Compensation and benefits – salary and bonus, as well as leave accrual and encashment\
• Development – Instruction, orientation, etc.
• Utilization – Evaluation and Management of Performance Indicators
• Employee Relations – handling of grievances and counselling of employees
• Employee services, such as identification cards, business cards, and e-mail addresses.
Customer Support Service
The Support Services department is in charge of ensuring that the following logistical and
administrative procedures are followed.

Product profile
The web-based Employee Leave Management System streamlines communication between
HR and employees, allowing for simple yet effective management of employee leave requests
and requests for time off. Leave administration ensures that all time off taken and time off
requests are properly recorded and accounted for. It is possible for office employees to apply
for leave, approve it, and view their leave records without having to go through the
administrative staff. Everything is accessible from any location at any time using their ID card.
Employees can use this system to quickly determine their vacation availability (from any point
in time) and submit requests for time off online. For managers, approving leave no longer
necessitates a mountain of paper work. The system keeps detailed records of your employees'
leave balances and plans, which can be audited at any time.
The following are some of the most important characteristics of a leave management system:
• Those in charge of the organization's leave policy.
• Annual leave and holiday preparations.
• Employees' time-off master (with eligibility for applicable leaves)
• Leave of Absence Application (by Employee)
• Request for Leave (by Front Desk/Human Resources)

• Approval/rejection of leave requests, as well as cancellation of leave requests.

Tracking System for Attendance


Time and attendance tracking for employees working for a company can be a difficult task for
any company to complete. It will be necessary to keep meticulous records in order to ensure
that all employees are paid the correct amount on each paycheck and that their earned or taken
sick and vacation time is properly accounted for and logged. Employee time and attendance
tracking can be a difficult task to manage manually, but using human resources software to
assist in the process can make it much simpler and more streamlined. For HR personnel and
department managers, it generates customised reports that they can review
Safety and security
Users can access the system by logging in with their corporate email credentials. Currently,
this application can only be accessed through the office intranet. In order to provide better data
protection, the application encrypts all essential information before storing it in the database.
Encryption of 64 bits using MD5 has been used for password protection. As a result, not even
the developer can decrypt the password.
Occupational health and safety at the workplace
Before beginning work in this organization, a young worker or employee must conduct an
assessment of the potential health and safety risks that may exist. They must pay close
attention to their age, lack of experience, and any other factors that could pose a threat to their
health and safety while performing their duties.
Special restrictions apply to the following types of employment: • Work that you are not
physically or mentally capable of performing.
• Work that puts you in direct contact with chemical agents, toxic materials, or radioactive
materials.
• Work that poses a health risk due to exposure to extreme cold, heat, or vibration (e.g.,
independent television broadcast technology department).
You are only permitted to complete the work outlined above under the following conditions:
• When it is necessary for employees to receive training; and when they are under the
supervision of an experienced individual.
• Whenever a risk has been reduced to the lowest level that can be reasonably anticipated
This set of rules does not apply to employees who work in a family business or a private
household for a short period of time or on an occasional basis, as long as the work is not
considered harmful to them.
Night work
There are specific restrictions on the number of hours that employees can work at night.
Employees are generally not permitted to work between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. (except
for those who work in non-news departments such as human resources, finance, accounts, and
support service, among others), but journalists are permitted to work on different sessions in
accordance with their assignments.
Weekends and holidays
Employees have the same legal right to paid time off as other workers to take advantage of this
benefit. The amount of paid vacation time they receive is determined by how many days they
work and when the calendar year begins.
CHAPTER 3
Mckensy's 7S Framework and Porter's Five Force Model

It is a tool that analyses firm’s organizational design by looking at 7 key internal elements:
strategy, structure, systems, shared values, style, staff and skills, in order to identify if they are
effectively aligned and allow organization to achieve its objectives.

1. Strategy
i) Clearly defined
The strategic direction and the overall business strategy for Pralotech Solutions are clearly defined and
communicated to all the employees and stakeholders. Moreover, the business strategy’s definition and
communication also make operations for Pralotech Solutions more transparent and aligns the
responsibilities and actions of the company.
ii) Guiding behaviour for goal attainment
The strategic direction for Pralotech Solutions is also important in helping the business guide
employee, staff, and stakeholder behaviour towards the attainment and achievement of goals. SMART
Goals are set with short and long term deadlines in accordance with the business strategy. The business
strategy helps employees decide tactics and behaviours for attaining the set goals and targets to help the
business grow.
iii) Competitive pressures
The strategy addresses these competitive pressures through suggestive measures and actions to address
competition via strategic tactics and activities that ensure sustainability to Pralotech Solutions via
adapting to market changes, and evolving consumer trends and demands.
iv) Changing consumer demands
This is an important part of the strategic direction at Pralotech Solutions as it allows the company to
remain competitive and relevant to its target consumer groups, as well as allows the company to
identify demand gaps in the consumer market.
The company then strategically addresses these gaps through product offerings and marketing activities
which give the company successful and leading-edge over other patterns in the market.
v) Flexibility and adaptability
With flexibility and adaptability, the Pralotech Solutions is not only able to benefit from quickly
reacting and responding to changing consumer patterns globally, but is also able to locally and
culturally adapt its products via localization for different countries and regions. Moreover, the company
is often able to proactively predict consumer market changes, and devise strategic changes accordingly
to meet the market trends.

2. Structure
i) Organizational hierarchy
Pralotech Solutions has a flatter organizational hierarchy that is supported by learning and progressive
organizations. With lesser managerial levels in between and more access to the senior management and
leadership, the employees feel more secure and confident and also have higher access to information.
Moreover, the flatter hierarchy also allows quicker decision-making processes for Pralotech Solutions
and increases organizational commitment in the employees.
ii) Inter-Departmental coordination
All coordination between different departments is effective and organized. Pralotech Solutions has a
systematic process for initiating and monitoring coordination between departments to ensure smooth
work operations and processes and goal attainment.
iii) Internal team dynamics [department specific]
All employees at Pralotech Solutions are expected to be team players who can work well with and
through other members, and who get along well with other people. The teams at Pralotech Solutions are
supportive of all embers and work in synch with synergy towards achieving the broader team
objectives and goals under the Pralotech Solutions designed strategy and values.

Pralotech Solutions has a hybrid structure between centralization and decentralization. Like many

that no organizational tasks and goals are compromised because of a lack of communication, or
misunderstandings.

3. Systems
i) Organizational systems in place
Pralotech Solutions has defined and well-demarcated systems in place to ensure that the business
operations are managed effectively and that there are no conflicts or disputes.
ii) Defined controls for systems
These controls and measures are designed specifically in different departments based on the nature of
their tasks and responsibilities. Moreover, each department also designs specific controls for members
for performance evaluation, as well as for inter-departmental tasks and responsibilities.
iii) Monitoring and evaluating controls
Feedback to employees and overall department heads is informally given regularly as and when is
required. Formal evaluation of performance is also conducted semiannually – or quarterly, depending
on the need and the urgency of the projects and assigned tasks. This is a formal process that is
undertaken by supervisors and managers to ensure the identification of performance lags, and
suggestive means of improvement.
iv) Internal processes for organizational alignment
Pralotech Solutions also has special processes and methods for ensuring that all departments and
systems within the organization are aligned and working in harmony towards the greater business goals
and targets. This is made possible through ensuring that all systems are designing and working towards
goals and targets specific to their expertise under the broader business vision and strategy.

supportive organizational structure that will allow employees to perform optimally, and enhance their

various business goals and objectives, and complete tasks. The company’s management is encouraging

i) Employee skill level vs business goals
Pralotech Solutions has a sufficient number of employees employed across its global operations.
Employees for different job roles and positions are hired internally as well as externally – depending on
the urgency and the skill levels required. Based on this, it is seen that Pralotech Solutions has
employees who are skilled as per the requirements of their job roles and positions.. All job roles and
positions are designed to facilitate the achievement of business goals, and as such, employee skill level
at Pralotech Solutions is sufficient to achieve the business goals of the company.
ii) Number of employees
Pralotech Solutions has employed a large number of employees. The number of employees varies from
country to country as per the requirements and needs of the business and operations. The global team of
Pralotech Solutions is an inclusive one that accepts, and encourages diversity, and works in
synchronization with members to ensure attainment of business goals. The team member sand

LEARNING EXPERIENCE

Human Resource stood out to me among other specification. I noticed the high level of detail
in the job description for the HR Internship position and the coverage of all areas in the
“expected job duties” of HR including recruiting, training, employee relations, and benefits. I
knew that I wanted to work in HR, but was unsure which aspect of HR I would enjoy most. An
internship where I would be responsible for performing menial administrative tasks would not
help me explore this. Therefore, I sought to gain valuable professional experience relevant to
my career goals. As an HR Intern at Pralotech Solutions I have accomplished exactly that.I
have assisted with the internal recruiter by calling candidates, administering assessments to
candidates, and performing reference checks. It is very rewarding to see candidates I spoke to
begin their new positions at Pralotech Solutions. It feels great knowing I played a part in
helping someone get a new job. I have worked on creating training presentations for internal
employees and I conducted training during a new-hire orientation. I was assigned a mentor
who was very helpful in answering any concerns or questions. My mentor provided me with
guidance and support and answered all questions I had during the internship.

I was given a good balance of guidance and freedom to complete these assignments. The
projects allowed me to interact with other departments at Pralotech Solutions including the
