Some people think that developing countries need financial

help from international organizations. Others think that it is
practical aid and advice that is needed. Discuss these views
and give your own opinion.
ANSWER:

People different views about what type of relief wealthy nations should grant third-
word regions. Some argue that the best approach is support in the form of
economic asistance, whereas others claim that practical form of support is more
necessary. There are valid arguments on both views, which will be discussed
below.

On the other hand, there are many reasons why providing financial assistance to
poverty-stricken countries is the greatest option. First, financial assistance from
affluent nations allows governments in impoverished countries to implement
important infrastructure improvements, such as healthcare systems, roads and
industrial zones. As a result, it can help a country to foster economic progress.
Second, it also contributes to erase the disparity between the rich and the poor
nations. For instance, numerous institutions support developing nations through
scholarships, which entitles a number of students living in poverty to the chance of
education, provides an opportunity for those young people to raise their standard of
living and contribute to the prosperity of their countries.

On the other hand, others believe that consultancy from first-world countries
should be given. To begin with, sustainable growth is determined not just by
money, but also by how a country is governed and managed, notably via
diplomacy and the settlement of major challenges such as poverty, crime and
unemployment. Therefore, undeveloped countries do not have adequate expertise
in this area, emphasizing the need for hands-on support from other more
experienced governments and organizations. Furthermore, funded support might be
misappropriated and government officials would embezzle the funding for personal
gains in poverty-stricken parts where corruption is rampant. For example, instead
of funding schools, foreign organizations should deploy teachers in remote areas of
poor countries to provide education for young children that would not be misused
by the government and is utilised to the benefit of the citizens.

In conclusion, although monetary support may still be offered to impoverished

parts, I hold a strong belief that global operations should put an emphasis on giving
non-financial assistance to their governments going forward.
