The PAS-X Savvy automatic importer allows the uploading of data from well-formatted spreadsheets.
This Excel template has been designed to work with the Pas-X Savvy automatic importer. Only files derived from this file ar
work.
In order for the import to succeed, you have to follow a few guidelines.
Data can be divided into two main groups:
• Feature data
• Time series
Feature data
Feature data are specific to the run and time-independent. These are stored in the "feature_data" sheet.
Feature data can be of different types:
• Scalar or single point measurements (e.g. a quantity: "45.5")
• set temperature
• maximum concentration of the product
• pH at the end of a fermentation
• Categorical or text (e.g. a strain name: "E. coli")
• name of the strain that is cultured
• Substrate in the feed line ("Glucose")
Each row of the sheet corresponds to an experiment, batch, cycle or charge (or similar). In Savvy, these are called runs.
Each column corresponds to a variable.
Time series
Time series store measurements that vary during the course of the experiment. Time series from the same run are saved i
which is named like the run.
The measurements may be at constant intervals, but that is not a requirement.
Examples of time series:
• Absorbance measured for each Time point in a culture
• pH regularly measured throughout the experiment
If feature and time series data should be allocated to the same run, the "Run name" in the "feature_data" sheet and the n
sheet must match.
You may remove all the timeseries sheets if you do not have any timeseries, but only feature data.
To add new timeseries sheets, start by duplicating an existing one. In this way you will keep the conditional formatting rule
