Style is front and centre
The all-new Cerato further refines the purposeful, flowing
design that made its predecessor such a standout in its class.
With slimmer LED headlights, incorporating striking six-bar LED
daytime running lights, and a reshaped lower intake design,
Cerato’s front end is sportier and more assertive than ever. The
latest take on Kia's long-serving 'tigernose' grille now extends
across to the edge of each light.
Kia's new logo sits proud above the redesigned grille, while
sharp new front styling rounds out the front-end changes.
Cerato is the first vehicle from Kia to to feature our new logo,
and a completely new design that symbolises a new era for the
Kia brand.

 Welcome to your
comfort zone
The all-new Cerato is about celebrating the driver. This
includes further refining the spacious, comfortable interior,
where distractions are kept to a minimum, allowing you to
focus on driving enjoyment.

Revisions include an electronic hand brake, reflecting the

pared back elegance of the entire cabin, and the new Kia
logo proudly sitting at the centre of the redesigned steering
wheel. The new Cerato cabin design blends a logical layout
with a contemporary and spacious feel.

A 10.25 inch infotainment touchscreen* with satellite

navigation sits atop the dashboard, while a 4.2 inch
digital display in the instrument cluster sits behind the
steering wheel.

Other comforts on Deluxe and GT models include dual zone

air conditioning, leather trim and heated seats, plus a
multitude of seating adjustment options for the driver and
front passenger.

 Your safety comes first
Kia has been championing the latest safety technologies for many
years. The 2022 Cerato is no exception, with a host of active and
passive safety features found in every vehicle in the range.

Safety features include Autonomous Emergency Braking with

Cyclist Detection, Safe Exit Warning, Driver Attention Monitoring, a
Reversing Camera, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist and Rear
Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist, with the last two of these
capable of both detecting and braking for obstacles.

There's also Lane Keep Assist, Lane Follow Assist and Rear
Occupant Alert, reminding drivers to check the rear seats upon
exiting the vehicle.

The proven Nu 2.0 litre 4-cylinder MPI engine, packing 112kW
and 192Nm, brings effortless power to the LX, LX Plus and
Deluxe models. Paired with a silky smooth 6-speed automatic
gearbox, this engine delivers spirited performance with
miserly fuel consumption.

Negotiating city traffic or stretching out on the highway, the

all-new Cerato is nimble, responsive, and ready for anything
the journey brings.

Digitally driven
At Kia we believe technology is there to enhance the driving or
passenger experience. Part of this is giving you all the information
you want without distracting you from the road ahead.

The 2022 Cerato proves the point with two completely new
infotainment displays. The LX model features an 8.0 inch
touchscreen with a 4.2 inch driver information display in the
instrument cluster. Cerato LX Plus, Deluxe and GT models have a
10.25 inch touchscreen with a 4.2 inch TFT LCD screen in the
instrument cluster. Both are fully digital.

The infotainment touchscreen is highly intuitive, making it easy for

drivers and passengers to access the information or entertainment
options they require. Touch-based shortcut buttons sit below the
touchscreen, taking you instantly to the information you want.

The driver information display can be customised to show only

what you want to see, removing distracting or unnecessary
information.

All models feature Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition,

Apple CarPlayTM and Android AutoTM. Higher spec models also offer
wireless smartphone charging, and a smart key with an engine
start/stop button mounted on the dash.

Power up with
The all-new Cerato introduces an extensively revised
flagship model that adds refinement as well as power.

The exterior styling is more assertive, with LED

headlights and taillights, a red accented front grille,
dual exhaust tips at the rear, and 18” alloys that sport
upgraded brakes. Stylish black mirror caps complete
the picture.

 GT comes with all the upgrades found in the 2.0 litre variants,
such as Kia's comprehensive suite of safety features. Lane
Keep Assist is now complemented by Lane Follow Assist,
Lane Departure Warning and Driver Attention Alert, while
Smart Cruise Control makes life even easier for the driver.

Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross Traffic

Collision Avoidance Assist and Safe Exit Warning are
standard along with Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross
Traffic Alert and Autonomous Emergency Braking with
cyclist detection.

Advanced satellite navigation, the smart key with engine

start/stop button and various connectivity upgrades all make
their way to the GT.

An exhilarating drive
At the heart of this performance liftback is a very lively, 1.6 litre DOHC T-GDi
D-CVVT petrol engine. Paired with our 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission,
the shifts are swift and assured, with power right through the range. Sending
150kW and 265Nm to the front wheels, this engine is highly responsive, and
delivers an exhilarating drive with the familiar sounds of a four-cylinder GT.

Inside the revised cabin, Cerato GT really looks the part. Black leather seat
trim with red stitching and piping, a flat-bottomed sports steering wheel,
metallic pedals, and paddle shifters all speak to the sporty character of the
vehicle. Heated and ventilated sports bucket seats create an even more
comfortable driving ambience, and further reinforce the vehicle’s GT
credentials. And, exclusive to the GT, a multi-link independent rear
suspension system further enhances handling and roadholding.

A Roadside Assistance Programme for the duration of the
Warranty Period is also offered on every new Kia at no cost. In
the unlikely event that your Kia has broken down, help is only a
call away and trained staff will be despatched to your location.
If a repair cannot be conducted on the spot, the vehicle will be
towed free of charge to the nearest Kia dealer.
