DashBoard
12 March 2020

Product Overview
Dashboard, a tool that allows the alignment of business processes and strategies
implementation. Dashboards are more than a collection of indicators and graphics, they
are found in different forms and interfaces. Dashboards answer to many questions of the
organization and are addressed to different types of audiences/users.

With Dashboards we need to display the key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk
indicators (KRIs), in related charts, maps and scorecards, in order to enable an enterprise to
focus on the most important performance activities. The purpose of the Dashboard is:-

- To display information on a single screen in a clear manner, in order to be understood by

everyone.

- User interface that helps to measure the performance of the enterprise, understand the
organizational units and the business processes.

- Evaluating business performance to find areas where business performance could be

improved.

- Monitoring and reporting actions taken to improve business performance.

2

Need to highlight:
- The bigger picture of business operations on a regular basis for all business owners and
managers.

- Key issues, risks and profit & loss in the business.

Top Management and decision makers should use such reporting to inform their decision
making. As dashboard reports provide an overview of consolidated business information,
usually in a visual format and focused on key metrics and risk factors.

What to include in our dashboard report:

a) As we have 8 Products which need to be display on one platform with their valuable
information:-

1. Air Booking

2. LFS

3. Visa Tracking

4. E- KYC

5. ADM (Airline Debit Memo)

6. TMS (Tool Management System) for Holidays

7. Segment Count

b) Respective managers have authority to view the major activities of their products.Login is
separated level-wise.

c) Top level management can view the complete Dashboard

Developing the information:-

3

As we discussed what to include in a dashboard report, the next step is to design how the
information is to be presented in the report. To assist in this, the business should consider:

● Why this information is important

● Why the issue included in the dashboard report is happening
● The performance measures or key metrics of the business
● The acceptable levels of variance for the key metrics

Dashboard for Airline - key metrics

- Report should include micro-level details of the Airline business. The dashboard report should
also be flexible so that new metrics can be introduced and metrics that are no longer relevant
can be omitted.

- The dashboard should keep front of mind that the report will be most useful where there is a
“mix-’n’-match” of relevant information. Please remember, a business should concentrate on
preparing metrics for the few key drivers and risks that are most relevant to decision makers.

Types of information that should be included in a dashboard report:

additions which is the “AGENT” sector (that we already discussed.) and comparison between
Domestic and international flight will remain same.

Make sure Data drilling should be at micro level.

Time frame:
- As we don't have mapping of CITY against STATE and State against REGION, which I believe is
time consuming.

Let's proceed with the work and breakdown the time frame.

Points need to know is:

1. Divide the module with respect to time.

2. Scrum on daily bases to monitor the work.
3. List the helping hand if you require it.
