EMCEE: The 2-day Division-wide Virtual Training is about to begin./ Just a few reminders, this
training requires your full attendance, with that, you may now log in your names to our
ATTENDANCE LINK which is now available in our chat box. Also, kindly check your signal,
the battery status of your phone or laptop, your camera, your headset or earphones, and also your
microphone to avoid interruption in the progress of today’s training. Most importantly, I would
like to seek your cooperation in completing our Online Training. Thank you./

II. INVOCATION/NATIONAL ANTHEM/MAKABAYAN SONG

EMCEE: Good morning ladies and gentlemen./ Welcome to our 2-day Division-wide Training
with a title of ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM CAPACITY BUILDING
ACTIVITIES/PRESENTATION OF RPMS TOOLS IN THE TIME OF COVID-19. Despite all
the challenges we are all facing now due to COVID-19, we can still find purpose in our lives and
be supportive of one another. Remember, When faced with a difficult situation, focus on what
you can change, accept matters that are beyond your control and always strive to live by your
values.

To begin with, I would like to ask everyone to please rise for our Opening Prayer, to be followed
by the singing of our Philippine National Anthem, Makabayan Song, and the Mission and Vision
of Alternative Learning System.

Once again, a wonderful morning everyone. It is my delight to be your emcee for this purposeful
training. I am Cristine G. Lagang, a Mobile Teacher of Cahilsot District.

EMCEE: To formally start, we are pleased to have you with us our very own Curriculum
Implementation Division Chief and the MOTHER of ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM,
Ma’am Juliet F. Lastimosa, to deliver to us her welcome message. A virtual applause please.

aims and purposes of this training, to be presented by the very vibrant and supportive, Education

THE RPMS SY 2020-2021 IN THE TIME OF COVID-19,/ let us hear from the District ALS
Coordinator of North Fatima District, Ma’am Evangeline Arubo. Take it away, Ma’am.

THE ROLE OF THE PHILIPPINE PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS FOR TEACHERS (PPST)
IN RPMS,/ let us hear from the Mobile Teacher of GS South District, Ma’am Maylene Ababon.

What is Gibberish?
Gibberish is the English word we use to describe talking that sounds like speech but has no real
meaning.

Our activity this afternoon is composed of 2 rounds. We have the EASY ROUND with 5
gibberish words and the DIFFICULT ROUND with 5 phrases/sentences.

Instructions: All of you are allowed to guess our gibberish game, this means that this includes
our PSDS, EPSAs, DALSCs and MTs. To give your answer, just type in the comment box. 1
point each correct guess. The one who will get the highest score will be our winner. Reminder,
you are only allowed to guess once every given gibberish. Let’s start first with a trial.

District ALS Coordinator of Pedro Acharon Sr. District, Ma’am Fila Mae Canto. Take it away,
Ma’am!

As we are about to end OUR First Day Training, let us hear a closing prayer to be delivered to us
