hilbarn Fresh Produce - Box Subscription

HOW WE STARTED Hilbarn fresh produce made its first appearance at Lilydale Village Market, Northern Tasmania in November 2008, providing high quality plants, herbs and fresh local produce from a variety of local growers (including ourselves). On a rained-off Sunday, faced with a choice of either a week of preserve making or composting, we decided to box up fruit & veggies and email a few friends, hoping they would save the day. And they did! Now we offer fresh Tasmanian produce to anyone who wants to share our appreciation. Everything is fresh and grown locally by a range of producers dedicated with absolute passion to their farms, fruit orchards and vegetable gardens. WHAT WE PROVIDE We want to share with you the quality and taste of the freshest local and seasonal Tasmanian produce. Some of our regional variety includes fruit such as apples, nectarines, apricots and plums; potatoes dug up the day before delivery; silver beet, capsicum, parsnips, tomatoes, quince, figs and berries in season; carrots with their fresh green tops still on; and a range of fresh and potted herbs. Depending on the season, we offer a range of optional extras such as organic eggs, free-range eggs, local preserves, condiments and walnuts. Just ask if you are interested. hilbarn FRESH PRODUCE AND HOW IT WORKS We provide absolutely the freshest local produce available to us. All our produce is sourced from Tasmanian growers. We exclude produce only if it is of poor quality or if the price is too high to offer value to you our customer. Your produce order is carefully packed into your $30 or $55 family box. If you wish you can trial one box. After sampling, the minimum subscription is 4 boxes. This way we can source the best produce for you in advance of your delivery. Your order must be received by 9pm Wednesday for Tuesday deliveries. We will share new Pick-Up Points with you as they become available. Each delivery includes a box (please return your box for recycling). Once you have subscribed, delivery will begin after payment is received. Produce is delivered either weekly or fortnightly. Box contents cannot be customized. No refunds are available for subscriptions. A credit may be provided in the case of an incorrect delivery. OUR RESPONSIBILITY

Unless previously notified, we aim to deliver your hilbarn fresh produce box to your Pick-Up Point or home address by 2pm each Tuesday. Personal information collected under this subscription will only be used for the purpose of assessing your application. This process may include the exchange of information with government departments or agencies for compliance purposes. Information may also be disclosed to Registered Agents for the purpose of verifying details of applications. Hilbarn fresh produce reserves the right to refuse any application if the information provided is incomplete or does not meet the required criteria.

Providing false or misleading information is a serious offence and carries penalties under the Criminal Code Act 1995.
