Masdar Demo Day
Masdar Demo Day 2021 is a face-to-face event for the presentation of companies
with advanced projects in the areas of Urban Mobility and Clean Energies.

Presentation of Pilots
Several pilot projects arising from company presentations at Masdar Demo Day will be
shown at a side event of the ADSW - Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, which will take place
in the 1st quarter of 2022.
We propose to frame these presentations in a side event that allows a better
understanding of the nature of the initiative, linking it to the sectors of business and
institutional entrepreneurship in innovation on sustainability.
ADSW Startups and Innovation Hub would be the framework for the
presentation of these pilots and, in turn, a space to share ideas and expand
possible initiatives.
ADSW S+I Hub - Essential
The Essential version of this ADSW event will include the presentation of selected pilots
from the Masdar Demo Day event, by engineers or spokespersons for the selected
companies, as well as an open networking and collaboration session around the projects.
It will also include the presentation: SuM Forum Future in Innovation, with a shortlist of
10 new international companies and projects according to the ADSW 2022 main areas.

Reasons to consider an Extended side-event
A dynamic event
The side-events tend to bring dynamism and help to the consolidation of its main events. They increase the
interest for a more plural public, expands its agenda, and generate synergies.

International visibility
The design of the ADSW Startups and Innovation Hub is aimed to create a great confluence of very diverse
entities, which generates a resonance box effect and great communication power.

Agenda multiplier
With 40 stands, about 50 presentations, the Awards, and other events, ADSW S+I Hub can add more than 100
entries to the main event agenda, at a very low cost, producing an unbeatable cost/impact ratio.

Audience catalyst
A mixed type side event generates greater reach towards potential visitors, and the support of virtual reality
presentations guarantees a large general public attendance.
