The purpose of this calculation note is to check the intensity stress in the support section,
and the diameter of anchor bolt under wind, seismic, bundle extraction, lifting and dead

3. Description of the structure

Heat exchanger is defined in the reference [3].

3.1. Materials characteristic

3.1.1. Anchor bolt

The mechanical characteristics for bolt ASTM A307M-A are:


- Allowable tensile stress: 140 MPa
- Allowable shear stress: 70 MPa

3.1.2. Plate support

The supports are in SA516Gr70, with the yield strength at ambiant temperature according
